Second Chance 2

"Mom, how's the weather" I said as I was placing all my things out. I was finally moving back to my old pack.

"It's amazing, thank you again for getting us tickets to go" she said for like 25th time this week.

My bonus from my job after graduation helped pay for their round trip going around the world. The trip is for 130 days and there on their 50th day. It took a couple years but they were already saving money as well to go on a trip. I just helped them go on the trip sooner, which was good since I'm going to be the new Pack Doc for the Pack Warrior. I been with those guys for 2 years now, they have seen me at my worst and my best and vice a versa.

Since the Alpha's son died when he was young, the title went to his nephew. My aunt and mother couldn't stop raving about him, he wasn't one of those Alpha that are cruel and stuff. He was a fair leader, he had rules and consequences for the Pack and had a lot of connection with the other Packs. My aunt said he's easy on the eyes as well.

I was heading to the Pack first and setting everything up. When I was in the Pack we had one Pack Doc who was older, he died a couple months ago and his spots been open ever since. I accepted the position a couple weeks ago, however my friends recently gave in there transfer papers. They hadn't found their mates yet and this was an excuse to go look for them.

"Tell them I said to sleep with a couple men for me" Tristan said right behind me which caused me to drop my box.

"Bye, mom" I said and hung up, I went to pick up my box but it wasn't there anymore, I turned and glared at Tristan who had my things in the air.

"Next time knock, or call" I said

"I'm a warlock, why call or knock when I can just show up" he said, than all my things vanished

"They better be in the truck" I said, he grinned

"They are, now tell me everything about this Pack" he said while sitting on my couch

"I could have sworn I told you before" I said going to the kitchen, I checked the time I had like 2 hours before I had to start driving to my family home.

"You told me about that bastard Nick" he said, I completely forgot about him.

Once I left the pack, I listened to my aunts advice and called the business number. It was a warlock named Tristan who had ties to the council. He made sure the bond was fully broken, which meant that I wouldn't feel any pains if Nick mated another girl and he wouldn't feel anything if I mates someone. We weren't mates anymore, it was an ancient spell that if the council found out he had, would land him in a lot of trouble.

"I'm not sure, my mom said there is a new Alpha. My aunt said he's easy on the eyes, other than that I'm as clueless as you are" I said getting something to drink and bringing him some grapes.

"Does he play for my team?" He said, I turned to look at him before I couldn't contain the laughter inside anymore.

"I don't think he likes guys but I'll ask for you" I said in between catching my breath,

"I'm not a huge fan of Alpha's anyway, but I need someone who can keep up" he said sighing, lately Tristan has been feeling lonely. I think it's because I'm moving and he's gonna lose a friend.

"You can move in with me, and I told you to meet my friend Micah" he looked at me with the puppy dog eyes

"You would let me move in with you?" He asked

"Of course, and you can finally meet Micah" I said, he ran up to me and kissed my forehead just before vanishing.

I checked my rooms to make sure I got everything. I got a call from my friends who told me to be safe and that they will be here in a few days.
