DC Heroes and Villains Preferences/Imagines:
(Y/N-your name)
(l/N-last name)
(H/c-hair color)Superman:
How you two meet-You had just got your internship at The Daily Planet this summer. You walked into the elegant establishment nervous with your palms slightly clammy.
You only hoped no one would offer to shake your hand. The receptionist man directed you to the service elevators for you to reach the 14th floor.
You checked yourself in the mirror making sure your (h/c) hair was in place. Today was a battle and you were ready to conquer.
You fixed your burgundy pencil skirt and your white top with your long white shawl. The elevator dinged and people filed in along with you. The cliché elevator tunes played on the way up.
Ding!
You talked with your boss briefly and he assigned you to Mr.Clark Kent. The mysterious and famous journalist in the Metropolis area.If that wasn't stressful enough for you, then being assigned as his photographer was more layers on the cake. You strutted in your kitten heels to his desk. He looked up at you with a friendly smile and offered his hand.
Damn...
You quickly wiped your hand and shook his cool firm ones.
"I'm Clark Kent." He let go and stood up to show you to the camera room.
"So, you're going to show me the ropes?" You questioned following him closely.
"Something like that." He handed you a standard Canon Rebel and a tripod. You turned on the fully charged camera and looked around.
"Very nice." You checked the lenses and found two zooming lenses. He left out and you walked next to him going to the elevators.
"So where are we going now?" He looked at his watch and smiled.
"A little tour of the latest mystery near the outskirts of town." He pushed his square frames higher. You continued to play around with your new camera.
"I'm y/n by the way." You smiled and looked up at him.
"I know. My boss told me about you this morning." He replied nervously looking away. The doors opened and your heels clicked on the marble floor.
You traveled to the front doors exiting to the busy streets. The summer breeze slightly hitting you which took an edge away.
He hauled a cab and waited for you to enter. You sat in eerie silence as the driver dove to the edge of the city. You held the equipment tightly in you hand waiting for him to instruct you.
Your attention went to the massive crater in front of you.
"Nobody knows what caused it...." He scratched at his neck oddly and you noticed.
"This is like....I can't even speak." You flabbergast and set up the tripod wanting to take the pictures. In the camera, a tiny object reflected from within the crater.
You took a close picture and seen it was a tiny shard of bone.
"What is that?" You move to the inside of the hole.
"I have no clue." He followed behind you and picked it up staring. You took it and inspected it.
"It's a dead end." He sighed and walked back up knocking the camera over ''accidentally'.
"Oh!" You rushed back over dropping the bone piece worrying about your job. What could he have possible tripped on?
You picked up the broken camera and you found the object to be completely ruined even the memory card somehow.
Your entire career could've been with taking a picture of it. He apologized profusely which you found a dorky cuteness behind.
You both walked back to the paid cab driver and he took you back to the building. The two of you built up courage to explain what happened which your boss forgave.
At the end of your workday, he sat up putting his satchel on and walking away with a slouch as if he did something wrong.
You logged off your computer and ran to catch up.
"Clark!" Your heels pounding the floor. He smiled slightly and waited for you in the elevator.
"Ms. L/N," He replied as you came in frazzled.
"Sorry about almost losing your job today."
"No worries. It's just a internship." You waved it off nonchalant. He looked at you like he was reading you.
"Yeah...." He looked away as he noticed he was caught.
"Well I'll see you tomorrow. Have a great night." You told him as the elevator doors opened.
You both walked out the front doors walking in different directions.
Who knew he could be so clumsy?
~Sorry if it's a bit rushed. I'm trying to get used to updating and putting ideas together. Thank you for reading.
