Your POV:
The holiday's for you weren't always the best nor your favorite. You spent nights watching sad movies or slasher films to distract your mind. However, now you are with the lovely meta human who happens to love Christmas and what not.

Barry enjoys decorating the tall tree and making hot chocolate to watch movies like The Polar Express. He felt content now that he gets to spend his time with you. But, you weren't feeling it this year due certain fights that have taken place and family pasts coming back.

You didn't want to crush his heart and tell him that you didn't want to receive heartfelt gifts.

"Babe! I found this beautiful snow globe at a thrift store today." Barry exclaimed running in the door with a few bags.

"That's nice." You told him currently studying for a final coming up in your college class.

"Look!" He placed it next to your book and your eyes focused on the snowman. The lights twinkled red and green as the snow fell around it.

"It's cute Bear Bear." You smiled and moved it.

He noticed you reaction and sighed softly. He picked up the hint that you weren't feeling the Christmas spirit.

"Let's go ice skating." He smiled knowing it was your favorite activity.

"I really need to study for my final." You held his hand for comfort and let go to write notes.

"Come on please (your name)?" He pecked your cheek.

"Fine! Let me go get dressed." You stood up and walked to the room.

-At the rink-
You skate around with Barry watching the other skaters and smile as he falls sliding across the rink. You go to help him up, but he trips you on purpose.

"You know you deserved that." He smiles and races away leaving you on the cold ice.

You seen a cash prize for tonight's game for couples. You read the sign carefully.

~100 dollar cash prize! Race with a partner to win the money. 7 laps around the ring and partner must spin you before your turn. Tonight! -Manager~

"Wanna do it?" Barry snuck up behind you smiling widely.

"No. It's silly." You shrugged it off and moved to the bench off the ice rink.

"Come on. Live a little." He sat next to you putting his arm around you.

"Barry, I'll fall and break something." You laughed and tightened your skates.

"You forget I will catch you. Fastest man alive."

"But, you're not in costume so you'll risk the chance of being discovered." You shook your head.

"Anything for you. Come on!" He smiles his charming smirk trying to win you over.

"No." You sat back to comfort your back.

"I dare you." He filled the silence.

"No."

"I double dog dare you." He knew the powers of a double threat. You sat and bit your knuckle hard.

"You owe me if I break something." He kissed you softly and laughs.

-the contest-
You were going after Barry and you told him numerous times not to cheat. But, knowing him his human fast is 2x faster than that. You spun him around like the ref asked and the whistle was blown.

Screech!

He instantly took off seconds ahead of the others. To you he looked normal, however he still remained a bit ahead of the competitors. Soon, he finished and spun you around.

"Babe!" You screamed becoming unbalanced to move. You moved your feet as fast as you could seeing the ground twist and turn.

You became stable and quickly sprinted to the end. You won by a long shot and the owner took you to the back. He distributed the money and the two of you left.

You walked down the street in a better mood. Snow began to surround you and Barry picked you up.

"It's snowing!" He spun you around laughing like a little kid.

"I double dog dare you to kiss me." You looked at him and you two shared a sappy romantic kiss in the snow.
