"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Riley screams. Her mum comes running up the stairs.
"Wha- Wha- phew. What is it?" She asks struggling to catch her breath.
"I just had a nightmare that's all." She says smiling at her as she wipes away her tears.
"Okay, darling sleep tight." Her mum says as she walks towards the door and sends a smile to her daughter.
Riley smiles back before laying back down. She was just sorting her pillow when she looked down and saw blood, everywhere. There was a knife in her side and blood was pouring out of the wound. She was going to faint for loss of blood. Just as she fainted her mum walked in.
Riley sat up straight in her bed slightly shaking. Tears had formed and were gradually going down her cheeks. She was gasping for air like a fishing of water which she thought was really weird. She sat up and looked at the time. It was 11.32. She laid back down, glad to know she wasn't going anywhere today. Her phone started playing 'He Likes Boys' which she recognised as her ringtone. Answering her phone Riley smiled when her boyfriend started talking.
"Hey, babe! How are you?" His voice rang out.
"Hey Alex! I'm fine boo, how are you?"
"I'm fine babe! Look I was wanting to come to yours for the weekend cause my flatmate is going to have a party and I can't be bothered. Is that ok or should I stay there for protection?" Alex worried over the phone. She smiled slightly happy that her boyfriend was coming over.
"It's okay! You can come stay we have extra protection. When are you coming?"
"Well I'm at Dads right now so I'm coming over....... Now!"
She smiled happily as a knock rang through the house. Riley sat up on her bed and yawned. She was finally going to see him. Standing up she caught sight of herself. Her hair was in boxer braids and she looked pretty considering she just woke up. Walking down the 3 flights of stairs she untangles her hair and let it become curly.
Riley opened the door coming face to face with a boy around 24. He had slightly longer brown hair which was styled into a quiff. He had chocolate brown eyes that made her melt every single time she looked into them. He was wearing a leather jacket with a plain black shirt. Pairing with the colours he was also wearing black skinny jeans and black high tops. He also had a duffel bag strapped over his shoulder. Alex truly was a God. Alex pulled Riley in to kiss her. She smiled into the kiss pulling away a couple seconds later.
"Ah, young love!" Riley's brother said from behind Alex.
"Luke you came back from Australia!"
"My baby sister is in trouble of course I did!" He smiled happily. Luke opened his arms wide waiting for a hug. Riley gratefully accepted it.
"I'm 2 minutes younger than you remember?" She says annoyed.
"Group Hug!!" Shouted Alex and squashed them all together.
"Alex!!" They shouted together.
"What?" He asks innocently. They nearly laugh. Keyword nearly.
"Well, you're kinda squashing me man and I'm pretty sure I'm no longer pretty!" Luke says seriously. she punches him on the shoulder laughing. When has he ever been pretty?
"C'mon Riley I want to see your room I haven't seen it in what 2 years?" Her pout turned into a cheeky grin and she ran up a couple of stairs. Riley turned to see them standing at the front door laughing.
"Well c'mon dudes! The last one up is Luke's stinky sock!" Laughs echoed behind her and she smiled widely. What had she done to deserve them?
