Journal prompt: Write a scene in which some type of sound interrupts (or triggers) a heated discussion.
Consider a barking dog, a text alert, a blaring television, a creaking staircase, a rumbling car, a dripping faucet.
"Come on Dean! We were supposed to leave an hour ago! We're gonna be l-". The sound of booming thunder interrupted your sentence. "-ate. Dammit Dean! Hurry up, I'm not walking to this place in the rain!" you yelled.
"We'll take Baby! She's fine." Dean yelled back.
"Not while she's got an engine problem we're not!" you argued.
"Ok. I think I know a little more about cars than you do (y/n)!" He exclaims walking into the room.
"Then you know what, don't blame me when she breaks down on the way there." you argued.
