Gone

Dipper's P.O.V
I was mad at Mabel but ran down the stairs putting my anger aside. I had to get her back. I ran out of the mystery shack looking everywhere for her. She couldn't have gone that far in such a short amount of time.

As I was running out I began yelling for Mabel which caused Grunkle Ford to come up behind me and stop me. "Dipper what's wrong?" He asked I tried to catch my breathe. When I finally did. "It's Mabel, she got mad at me for asking her why she hurt someone and she ran off into the woods." Grunkle Ford looked worried. "Don't worry Dipper, we'll find her."

Mabel's P.O.V
I didn't have a plan, I just kept walking. The woods slowly got darker as the sun began to set and I felt a chill run up my spine. My light jacket that I had on didn't help at all. I began shaking as I was walking and looked around trying to not fall over logs or anything.

I sat down in a clearing and stared up at the stars. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I was really tired but I got up and continued walking until I finally walked into town. I only had twenty dollars on me and I needed somewhere to stay for the night. But then I thought why stay in Gravity Falls where they can find me when I can just get on a bus and go wherever I want? And that's what I'm going to do.

I walked to the bus stop and stared at the bus station. There were busses going to California but I couldn't go there. Then I saw a bus to Nevada. I'll go to Nevada.

The bus would leave in half an hour so I paid for my ticket and sat down on a bench in the bus station. I pulled out my phone and said thank god that I accidentally threw my charger in my pocket as well. I opened my phone to see a bunch of text messages from Dipper. He seemed really worried. But I didn't care, well I guess I didn't.

'What do you want Dipper?' I texted back.
'Mabel where are you?!?! We've been looking for you for an hour'
'no where I just went for a walk in the woods, and I am not coming back'
'Wait what? Where are you going? Get out of the woods!' 'Mabel answer me.' 'I don't know what I did wrong but you're overreacting.'
'I am not overreacting I am just tired of everyone telling me what to do'
'We wouldn't have to tell you what to do if you would stop being so difficult!' I turned off my phone, that's it I'm leaving.

Dipper's P.O.V
I admit I shouldn't of said that, but I was angry. After that she wouldn't answer anything I sent her. This made me worry even more.

I knew looking for her in the woods would probably not help at all but I ran throughout the woods yelling for her. I finally reached town around 20 minutes later. I looked around town, asking people in stores if they had seen her or not. It felt like forever when I finally reached the bus station and went inside to ask if they had seen Mabel. I walked inside trying to catch my breath, when I finally did I walked up to the counter.

"Excuse me have you seen a fourteen year old girl, brown hair, brown eyes, she was wearing a black jacket and leggings." "Why yes I had, she just left a while ago." "Where did she go?" "Oh she went on a bus." My heart stopped. "My sister bought a bus ticket and left?!?!" "Yes I believe she went down to Nevada." "Okay thank you." I said and walked out.

I put my head in my hands and sighed. She left me, she went all the way to a different state because I got mad at her. This was all my fault. But I will deal with the guilt later, I have to tell Grunkle Ford and Grunkle Stan.

When I got to the edge of town and began walking to the mystery shack, Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford drove by in the car and stopped right next to me on the side of the road. "Dipper did you find Mabel?" Grunkle Stan asked. "Yeah, she's on her way to Nevada. She took a bus and left and its all because of me." I said and felt tears wanting to fall. "We need to find her, get in the car Dipper we're going on a trip." Grunkle Stan told me as I got in the car and he took off speeding.

I grabbed my cell phone and dialed my parents number. It was ringing for a while until I heard my dad answer the phone. I told him what happened and about our fight and that Mabel was gone and went to Nevada. Dad said he would meet us up in Nevada and was going to wake up mom. I shut my phone off and stared out the window, I can't believe Mabel left and its all my fault.

Mabel's P.O.V

I watched out the window as the trees sped around, I was leaving Gravity Falls all on my own and I was honestly a little scared. I've never officially ran away from home. And I had nothing, no clothes, nothing but about 10 dollars in my pocket. I tried to relax and sleep but my eyes stayed wide open my mind was running a mile a minute and I couldn't sleep at all.

So I just kept staring out the window, I hoped wherever I ended up I would be okay and that my family wouldn't find me. It wasn't until now that I started thinking of the consequences. My parents will be furious.

The bus wouldn't stop for around ten hours and honestly I didn't feel like riding that long but it would get me far away from Gravity Falls. And away from my brother. I just wanted it all to go away and since I'm leaving no one can tell me what to do now. I could do whatever I want. I could go to another state, live somewhere else, or I could do something I hadn't thought of before. Something that made sure I wouldn't have to see my brother again, or go back to that hell of a school. I could kill myself...maybe it would be better that way.

Dipper's P.O.V

I wasn't too sure about this, the drive would take around 10 hours and I was kind of nervous about seeing Mabel. I wanted to know what was wrong with her, but clearly she didn't want me to. Something was up with her and I want to find out. I will find out.
