Carmen's Pov:
"Knock! Knock"! I heard coming from my bedroom door. I walked over to open it.
"Hey Raquel, I'm almost ready." I said walking back to the bathroom.
"Okay. Carmen, have you heard about Zach's party tonight?" asked Raquel.
"Yes, I have, but we are not going."
"C'mon Carmen, it I'll be fun."
"No, it wont , every party that he had someone is always ending up in jail." I said walking out of the bathroom, putting my stuff in my doufle bag.
"But, I really wanna go, besides when was the last time you went to a party?"
I stayed silent. Raquel was right I haven't been to a party in a while. I needed to get out more, but I was not going to Zach's party, whether she wanted to go or not.
"That's what I thought." she said sarcastically.
We walked downstairs, heading for the door when Charles stopped us.
"Hey Raquel, where do you think you're going?" he asked trying to be flirty. He had a big crush on Raquel.
"Nun of your buisness." Raquel said, pushing Charles away from the door.
We walked out the door, closing it behind us.
"You know he likes you, right?" I asked.
"Yea, but he doesn't have a chance."
When we got in the car, Raquel started up the car and backed out of the driveway. It was a twenty minute drive from my house to hers, so we blasted the music super loud and sang along to whatever song came on.
(15 minutes later)
"Um, Raquel, I think you missed your turn." I said getting a little worried.
"No, I didn't. It's a shortcut." she said.
"If you say so."
Raquel drove for a few more minutes and then stopped next to a sidewalk. When I looked out the window, I saw a big house, with many familiar faces standing on the porch and heard music playing, that made the house shake a little.
"Raquel, you didn't?" I said in a questioning tone.
