Carmen's Pov:

(At the police station)

"We're going to ask this one more time. Why were at that party drinking?" asked the police officers for the fifth time.

"For the last time, I was not drinking. I was there with a friend, she handed her bottle to me and took off." I said.

I know it wasn't right to rat Raquel out, but I had no choice. I thought she was my friend, my best friend at that. I'm done with Raquel. No more second chances. Since we were six years old, I'm always the one paying for her problems and I'm over it.  I guess Raquel and I are through.

The door opened and another police officer came in.

"Officer, we have a problem here and I think you may wanna see this." said the police officer that came in.

"Follow me, Carmen."

I got up from my seat and followed the first policeman that I was talking to. When we walked out of the room, I saw the one person that I didn't wanna see. Raquel, who was followed by Anthony.

"We found these two three blocks away from the house, where the party was thrown. They were definitely at that party because they both were drunk when we found them." said the officers, glancing over at me.

"Do you know these two?" they asked me, when I heard my name being called from afar.

"Carmen, oh my goodness!" called my mom and dad racing over to me.

"Are you okay? Why were you at a party, I thought you were having a sleepover with--?" said my mom when she was interrupted by looking  over and seeing Raquel sitting in front of her.

"Miss, is this your daughter?" asked the same police officer that I was with.

"Yes, she is. What happened?" asked my mom, sounding very worried.

"Well, there was a party, where teens were underage drinking. We found her with a half drunken bottle in her hand. She's claiming that the bottle wasn't hers and that it was her friend's."

I gave Raquel a 'tell the truth look' and she ignored me. I can't believe that she's letting me take the blame for something she did.

"We're not gonna keep her, only because we didn't find anything in her system, but this is her one and only warning." stated the officer.

"Thank you officer. What about these two?" asked my dad.

"We'll take care of these two."

My parents thanked the police officers one last time, before we left. The entire walk to the parking lot was basically my parents going on about how disappointed they were in me. I didn't even bother to argue with them because of how frustrated I was with Raquel.

I walked a lot faster than my parents, so I was already at the car. They had the key, which meant that I couldn't get in. I basically stood there playing with the key whole on the door, when I felt a very intense shock hit like I was falling off a cliff.

"Ow!" I shouted.

"Honey, what happened?" asked my mom.

"Nothing, just had an intense shock that's all." I said, getting into the backseat.

"Ow, stupid leather." I said, because I felt another intense shock.

I looked at my parents, and they both looked at each other like they had something on their mind or something that they wanted to tell me about. What were they hiding?
