How is it water controls us
It's so plain
Takes up so little space
Goes easily down a drain
Can be manipulated
Yet it controls us
Our bodies are made of it
Our land is covered by it
And with not enough you will die
With a just a little you might die
There is no other side
Water controls our lives

When we think danger
We think of weapons
And threats
Everyone just accepts
The silent killer H2O
In its liquid state
That we have to have
Made up of two things
One of which is a survival essential
This silent killer controls us
Having too much is considered a natural disaster
Not having enough could put you to death
Having just a little might kill you
