"It's Friday,what do you want to do,"I asked Anna
"I don't know,what do you want to do?"she replied
"Well I think the state fair is opening today,we should go,"I told her
"I don't know Calum,I don't think it's safe nor do I think that I'd like it'she said
"Come on"I begged her "I really want us to go together"
"Calum,"she said worriedly
"Anna"I taunted her.
"I don't want to go Calum,"she said
"But I want to go,and I want you to go with me,"I said to her cockily
"Fine,"she said but I could see the look of regret on her face as soon as she said it but then she smiled and I forgot all about it.
"So what time do you want to go,"I asked her
"Ummm I want to change after school so how about we go to my house then go to yours and then we can go,"she said
"Okay sounds good (feels good-sorry I couldn't stop myself),I'll see you later okay.Oh, and by the way you're beautiful"I said and walked away knowing that I had left her with the biggest smile on her face.

"So are you ready to get going,"she asked me as we walked out of the building
"Yeah let's go"I replied and we hopped in the car and left
"You know I've never been to your house before,"I told her
"Yeah but it's not really all that cool and my mom's never really home,"she said
"Does she work a lot?" I asked
"Yeah she goes on many work trips"she sighed
"Well anytime she's not home and you're lonely you can always come over to my house,"I said and smiled at her
"Thanks for offering cal,it means a lot"she smiled back to me
"Did you just call me cal?"I asked her
"Umm yeah I'm sorry I won't say it again,"she said and blushed
"Oh no it's fine,it's just that no one has ever given me a nickname before,"I said and smiled softly
"Well if you don't like it I'll stop,"she said and turned to look at me
"No don't,I like it,"I said to her and blushed even harder
"Okay,"she said softly with the slightest smile on her face

She stopped the car in front of a large white house with beautiful red flowers surrounding it.It looked like it came straight out of a magazine
She walked up to the door and unlocked it with her keys and then turned around to make sure that I was still following her.The house was even bigger than it looked on the outside and even more beautiful.The house looked like it was made of money
"So only you and your parents live here,"I asked her
"just me and my mom"she replied as she led me up the stairs
"what about your dad?"
"umm he doesn't live with us,"she said in a quiet voice
"where is he"
"umm so this is my room,you can wait here while I go-"she tried to say but her voice cracked before she could finish,she ran into her bathroom with her clothes in her hand
I stood where I was for a few seconds still confused as to what had just happened
I walked up to the door and knocked,I could hear her crying softly through the door
"are you okay Anna,"I said softly
"yeah,just give me a second,"she said quietly and continued crying
I slowly turned the doorknob and walked into the bathroom and saw her sitting on the floor with her back against the bathtub.I walked over to her ad sat right next to her
"what's wrong,"I said as I turned to her
"nothing,"she said and brought her legs closer to her chest
"I'm here for you,just tell me what's wrong,"I said and slowly inched m hand down to touch hers,she flinched and pulled her hand away
"i-i-i I'm sorry"I stuttered but before I could say anything else she slowly slid her hand into mine
"about two years ago my dad died in a car accident.I was in the hospital because I had an accident.He was speeding and he ran a red light and a car rammed into the driver's side where he as sat and he was killed instantly"she said and started sobbing
"hey it's okay,"I said and hugged her
"it's not,it was all my fault if I hadn't been in the hospital he wouldn't have been speeding and he wouldn't have died"she cried harder
"There's nothing you could have done anna,it wasn't your fault,"I said and pulled her closer to me
We sat there for a few minutes before she pulled away from me
"thanks for being there for me,"she said and sniffled
"it's okay,I'll always be here,"I said to her.She smiled ant looked down at our still intertwined hands
"Why don't we go to the fair tomorrow and we can just stay here or I could leave if you'd like,whatever you want,"I said hoping she'd ask me to stay
"no stay,don't leave me,"she said quietly,squeezing my hand even tighter
"I'll never leave you"
