"Daddy do you think I'll meet someone that I can love one day? Like you and Mommy?"

A lifeless chuckle tumbled out of the little boy's father. He ran a hand through his black hair a minute before answering.

" I hope you find love better than your mother and I's love."

The boy frowned."Why would you say that, isn't Mommy and yours relationship perfect?"

"Not exactly Marshall. Your mother and I have our problems, nothings perfect between us."

The small house of sorts they were occupying suddenly felt sadder. Little Marshall frowned and clambered up to his dad. He gave him a hug and smiled brightly, his tiny fangs glinting.

"It's okay I know mommy loves the both of us very much."

His father just gave him a weary smile, and looked out the window.

Marshall Lee was still to young to understand what really happened between his mother and father. He was still too young to understand the horrors of the world.

And he was definitely still to young to understand that love isn't a fairy tale.

Soon enough he'd learn... Wether he liked it or not.
