"Fionna wake up hun it's breakfast time!"

I bounded from my bed, literally sliding down my ladder. A tantalizing smell flooded my senses, could it be?

"Waffle sasuages!!!!" I shouted with joy.

My sister chuckled at me, handing me a plate of the delicious substance. Immediately I scarffed the food down, not caring about table manners.

"Honestly Fionna, eat properly! What are you a dog?" She questioned wrinkling her nose.

I shrugged my shoulders at her, continuing to eat like a literal pig, After I was done I ran up the ladder to take a shower. I was ready for an adventure.

Finished with my shower I threw on my regular clothes. I then proceeded to shoved my semi wet hair into my worn out bunny hat.

My mind was still full of thoughts about that vampire... Marshall Lee. I decided that I'd go ask Gumball about him. After all he was royalty too, maybe he knew the guy.

I shimmied down my ladder, and walked to the door.

"Hey Cake! I'm heading to the Candy Kingdom okay!!" I hollered to my sister.

"Okay Fionna I'll go hang out with Lord M, be home by 6:00 pm please!"

I agreed then off I went to the kingdom.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I waltzed down the hallway to Gumball's lab. I knocked on the door and heard his cheery voice welcoming me in.

"Good day Fionna how are you?" He questioned as I entered.

Toda the lab was clean and he seemed to be much more sane.

"I'm good, hey have you heard of a vampire named Marshall Lee?" I asked.

He promptly dropped his sciencey doodad. His face went from a state of calm to one of horror.

"M-Marshall...Lee?" He practically squeaked.

I frowned scratching the back of my neck. "Uh, ya.... I met him one day he's pretty math."

At my comment PG started to laugh under his breath, all the while gripping his desk. This was pretty weird behavior for him, he only acted this way when he had too much caffeine.

"Stay away from him Fionna, he isn't a good influence... I should know." He

"He seems fine what's so bad about him anyway?" I shot back.

Bubba tensed up, obviously getting uncomfortable. "I-I don't want to talk about it."

"Well is he-"

"Fionna stop talking about him!" Gumball cut in sharply.

A blush covered my cheeks, he rarely snapped at people especially me. Knowing I had pried to far I stopped.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude." I apologized.

PG slowly gathered his composure. "It's fine, just please leave the issue alone. Also don't go near him."

I nodded, and at that moment decided to make my exit. What an awkward talk. Honestly what Bubba told me just made me want to know more about Matshall. After all I'm fourteen, hello rebellion. I am an adventurer after all, I can handle myself.

Seeing that it was only 12 I decided to go do some investigating. Maybe the library had details on my suspect. I felt like a spy hot on the trail of a mystery person.

"Ba, ba, ba, baba, ba BAAAA!" I shouted as I practically rolled through the library door. I was trying to mimic the music from those old spy movies Cake showed me.

"SHHHHHHH!"

I looked up to see a very unamysed Turtle Prince. "Fionna please keep it down, this is a quite place!"

"Sorry dude I'll try to be more silent." I lied rushing past him.

Everyone in the library chuckled, they all knew I couldn't keep quite. Navigating the aisles of books I finally found one on all the royals of Aaa. It was a thick book, with generation after generation of royalty alike. I thumbed through the book trying to find the page on Vampire rulers.

Finally after reading list after lost of stupid names I found it.

Marshall Lee; Vampire King

"Slamacow!" I exclamied, quickly getting shushed l.

I buried my head in the book quickly, and started to read more.

Marshall Lee the Vampire King is one of the most mysterious people in Aaa. He is supposedly to blame for many deaths, and bad times on Aaa. He has no existing kingdom in this world to speak of, however it is rumored he will inherit the Nightosphere.

Age: Unkown.

I grumbled under my breath. He really was a mystery. However I really was suspicious about the death part. He seemed like a nice enough person. After a while of looking for more info on him I gave up, deciding to go home.

I was getting tired anyway, libraries always have that calming atmosphere. Once I got out of there I saw the sun was already setting. It was a beautiful sight to behold.

Pinks and oranges swirled about in the sky, somehow making me hungry for cotton candy. At that thought my stomach growled. The realization hit me then that I hadn't eaten since this morning. With that I kicked it into to overdrive, sprinting all the way home.

By the time I got there the aroma of mashed potatoes hit me. Food was my only thought as I made a mad dash for the kitchen.

"Welcome home baby cakes!" My sister said.

I smiled brightly grabbing a plate of food. "Hey cake how was Lord M?"

"He was good we watched some movies." Cake replied plopping down on a bench.

"So what did you do today?"

I thought about it for a minute, knowing better than to tell her. She wouldn't approve one bit.

"Oh you know the usual adventuring." I replied.

I could lie just this once.
