Fionna- Age 14
The next morning I woke up to more rain, ya.... Now what am I supposed to do? My plans for the day were ruined, there was no way I was going out in rain. I picked up my phone next to me, and dialed Prince Gumball's number.
"Hello Fionna! How are you this fine day?" PG said when he picked up.
"Well I'm okay, but I wouldn't call this a lovely day. It's raining like crazy." I replied blandly.
He chuckled. "Well it's perfect weather for conducting experiments, there might be lightning!"
"Have fun with that then. I won't be coming today I don't want to walk all the way to your kingdom in this weather."
"Alright have a great rest of your day Fionna, bye!" With that our phone call ended.
I let out a deep sigh, and ran my hands through my messy blonde hair. Maybe my sister could play BMO with me.
I leaned down the ladder and hollered out her name. There was no response. Calling out her name again had no effect, so I shimmied down my ladder. Once I reached the kitchen there was a note on the table.
Hey sweetie I went to meet up with some old friends. Help yourself to the spaghetti, I'll be home around 8 pm.
Stay safe xoxo
Cake had of course gone out of the house again, she is pretty social. I wandered over to the cooler, and snatched up the spaghetti. It looked tampered with, please don't tell me that mystery thief stole more of my precious food. Clenching my eyes shut I slowly took the lid off the container. I took a peek at the food, and let out a gasp.
The sauce for the spaghetti had turned white! I squinted at the sauce making sure my eyesight wasn't just junked up. But no lo and behold before me was spaghetti with white sauce. Now I know for a fact that it was red, since I ate it last night. Whatever was playing with me was really starting to tick me off. No one targets my food!
I let out a heavy huff, and just decided to retreat to my room. Once there I opened my closet to put on my cozy red... sweater....
I mean white sweater?
"What the glob!" I yelled aloud. This wasn't funny anymore, something was turing my red objects white, and stealing my red foods.
"Come out fiend, and face me!" I yelled planting my foot on the floor. Dead silence was my response.
"Don't be a baby! I know you are there, red thief." I hissed darkly.
A low chuckle bounced off the walls. "Feisty, aren't we?"
Shivers went down my spine, something really was there.
"Shut up, and leave my premises at once!"
"No can do bunny girl, this is actually my place." The voice shot back.
My eyebrow twitched in anger, what an ass. "I don't care if your great-grandmother lived here this is my home now."
Suddenly before me a figure materialized. A man to be more exact. He was in his late teens, had shaggy black hair, fangs, and pale skin. Fear hit me like a tidal wave, this was... a
"Vampire. Yes I'm a vampire." He announced finishing my thought.
"Hey don't read my mind!" I grumbled.
A smirk tugged at his lips, and he floated closer to me. "Don't make your thoughts so loud. I can hear them from a mile away."
I felt a blush form on my cheeks, what a cocky bastard.
"Hey sweetie that's some naughty language for someone your age."
"I don't care, now shoo shoo you old geezer!"
The vampire just cocked one of his dark eyebrows at me. Faking hurt he placed his pale hand against his chest, and gasped dramatically. "For your information I am eternally young!"
"Sure, but I think you should get cream for those wrinkles."
His hands shot up to face, and he patted around it. After a minute of him frantically checking for wrinkles, he stopped and glared at me.
His eyes were actually very enchanting they were a deep maroon color. It reminded me of the bat from yesterday. Wait, he couldn't be, oh my god I cuddled a vampire!
"That's right bunny, you and I cuddled last night, and you seemed sad when I was gone. Now you are trying to get me to leave? Make up your mind!" He teased.
My face grew hot, oh my glob. "G-go away or I'm going to fight you!"
"Alright if that's what you wish. See you around Fionna."
And with that the creepy dude disappeared into thin air. Is stood there for a minute in shock.
"What the hell! You never gave him your name, stranger danger!" My conscience screeched at me.
The door slammed open downstairs, and Cake came barreling up.
"Fionna your okay thank catnip! I smelled vampire. Are you okay?" She cried pulling me in for a bone crushing hug.
"Y-ya I just um... I know whats been stealing our food. He turned my favorite red sweater white."
She shook her head angrily. It's a well know fact that she absolutely hates vampires. To her they are creepy creatures, that need to be banished from this earth.
"I'll be right back sugar I need to go get my vampire repellent kit."
I rolled my eyes, and plopped down on my couch. I heard a heavy slam which almost scared the hell out of me. My dear sister had decided to bring out the whole kit. It consisted of a bible, holy water, garlic, stakes, crosses, and salt. In my opinion I felt like most of it was just a big joke. However she insisted it works, so I kinda just let her do her thing. I watched her frantically running around the house chanting phrases, and hanging up crosses.
Cake came up to me, and shoved a cross that had been dipped in garlic around my neck.
"Don't take it off, okay. Vampires can be very convincing so hold your ground!"
I nodded in response.
What a strange day.
