Blake hated feeling this way. Yang was out /again/ with yet another girl. This time, and a few times before this, it was a year younger fox Faunus with wild red hair and fiery green eyes. Whenever Yang told the rest of the team about the young Faunus, she never used her name, only "Foxy." Yang would come back to their dorm every night around midnight, way after curfew, her hair tousled and her eyes gleaming. Blake would be pretending to be asleep, but she was waiting every night for her blonde partner to arrive. Tonight was different. It was after one o clock, Blake hadn't heard anything from Yang, and Yang was still not back. She sat up in her bed, waiting and reading her book. There was a sound in the hallway and Blake's ears perked up underneath her bow. Yang stumbled into the room, pulling the girl in with her. The door closed quietly and Yang pulled Foxy into the wall. She caught a glance of Blake and turned around, grinning sheepishly that she was caught with this girl.

"Oh, um... Hey Blake. I thought you were asleep," Yang said, still grinning and holding Foxy's hand. Blake had a blank expression on her face.

"I'm not," she said in more of a rough tone than she meant. Yang shrugged.

"What's your deal, Blake? Is there a problem with me dating someone?" Yang put a hand on her hip. Blake's face fell.

"You're dating her?" She asked, trying to recover from her expression change. The girl, Foxy as nicknamed by Yang, let go of Yang's hand and put both hands on her hips.

"Yeah, we are dating. What's the issue?" She asked in a rude tone. Yang put a hand in front of Foxy to symbolize not to attack Blake, both verbally and physically. Blake had a hurt look on her face that most other people besides her team would pass off as a normal expression. Yang looked at Blake, concerned, but Foxy took Yang's hand and seductively pulled her back toward the wall. At that moment, Yang's attention was back to Foxy and they were making out, Yang pressing Foxy into the wall. It didn't seem to be passionate though, just a bit intense. Blake got up and left to the library, slamming the door behind her and waking up Weiss and Ruby in the process.

Weiss and Ruby looked over at the make out session of Yang and Foxy, and Ruby screamed. Yang pulled away quickly, a light blush creeping up her cheeks. Foxy jumped back as well, leaning away from Yang and further against the wall. Ruby looked panicked then her expression softened a bit. "Yang! You scared me! You should've told us that you were bringing someone back this late." Ruby still looked panicked, her silver eyes as wide as they could be.

"Um... Could you guys get a room or something?" Weiss asked, trying to be polite and smiling slightly at Foxy. Yang lightly kissed Foxy's lips and walked her to the door.

"Hey sugar, same thing tomorrow as today, just your dorm. Oh, and maybe carnival tomorrow too. Meet me at the tree," Yang said, winking at the only Faunus currently left in the room. Foxy smirked and nodded, smacking Yang's butt as she left the room. Yang smiled and then turned to her bed. She stretched then jumped in bed. Ruby looked at her cautiously.

"Are you okay? Were you going to do it with Foxy? Are you going to change into your pajamas? Where is Blake? Did you scare her away too?" Ruby sent a barrage of questions toward Yang. Yang put up a hand to silence her.

"Yes I'm okay, maybe we were going to do it, yes I'll change, I don't know where she is, and I don't think I did." Yang crossed her arms and then turned to get her pajamas. Weiss and Ruby shared a glance before Weiss shrugged and then went back to bed. Ruby got up and waited until Weiss was asleep and Yang was in the bathroom. When both of those things happened, Ruby left the room to find Blake.

'If I were a Faunus who loved to read and be silent, where would I go?' Ruby thought to herself. Suddenly the lightbulb went off. "The library!" She said out loud. She quickly quieted down and used her semblance to run quickly to the library. Blake was sitting in the corner of the library, reading her book. Ruby couldn't see the title. Ruby went over to the silent Faunus and sat right in front of her.

"Tell me what's wrong..." Ruby whispered. Blake looked up from her book and quickly shoved the book behind her back.

"Nothing is wrong, I don't know what you are talking about." Blake was silent for a moment before turning back to Ruby. "Why, did Yang ask?" Blake still kept the book hidden. Ruby shook her head.

"No, the girl that she was with just left though. She's probably still awake. Do you want to talk to her?" Ruby asked innocently. Blake shook her head rapidly from right to left.

"No, no, no. I can't talk to her. Not now. Not while I'm still mad. Ruby..." Blake sighed. "Ruby, thank you for checking on me. I'll be back at the dorm soon. Get some rest and I'll see you later." Blake took her book out and continued to read, the title hidden by the table.

"Okay. Later Blake," Ruby said, shrugging and then waving as she walked off. Blake sighed. 'Maybe my teammates do care. Well, Ruby at least.' Blake shrugged to herself and then continued to read. Ruby ran back to the dorm, using her super speed, then jumped into bed before Yang was even out of the bathroom. Yang came out of the bathroom a moment later, going to her bed and laying down.

"Ruby, are you still awake?" She whispered. Ruby shifted a bit in her bed and nodded.

"Yeah I'm awake, Yang. What's up?" She whispered back.

"You... Went to see Blake, right?"

"Yeah, I did."

"And... How was she?" Yang asked, hesitantly. Ruby shrugged.

"She seemed distant. More than usual. She said she'd be here in a few minutes." Ruby started drifting off to sleep. Yang heard the tiredness in her voice and stopped talking, deciding to wait for when Blake came back to the dorm to ask her if she was okay. However, while waiting for Blake, Yang fell asleep. Blake didn't come back that night. She stayed up and read for the rest of the night in the library.
