Chapter Ten

Friday, 9:36pm

Harry pulled up to a bar, that was surprisingly really close to my house. It wasn't like a club like I was used to though, it was like an actual bar.

I unbuckled myself from the car and exited. I searched for Harry not knowing if he was still in the car or if he got out or what, but my eyes quickly landed upon him. I walked up next to him, as we began to walk inside together. I continued observing the building. There was a sign that said "Karaoke Night" on it, and another sign that said "Open".

Harry hurried to the door and held it open for me. I thanked him and walked inside. I looked around and heard a dreadful noise. I looked in the direction where the noise came from and saw a man who was probably drunk singing. Well trying to anyway.

"I don't think he will have that much luck in the music business." Harry spoke, I slowly not knowing what to say, I just wanted him to get off of the stage.

Me and Harry found a seat by at the actual bar table, closer to the back and farther away from the "singing" that was taking place. We ordered our drinks and started making small talk. I tried so hard not to ask him about why him and Carolina broke up, but  that kept coming to mind. I was always so curious about that type of thing, but I didn't want to be, that was his business I shouldn't get into it.

"Do you sing?" Harry asked me. His attention was diverted over to the singer that was up now, but then focused on me.

"No I mostly dance, what about you?" I asked him, taking another sip of my drink.

"Yeah I sing sometimes, what type of dancing do you do?" He spoke, a smirk was planted on my lips. He should go up and sing!

"Contemporary, but why don't you go up there and sing?" I asked him. I want to hear him.

"No I'm not that good." He said. What!? He just says he sings, now he says he's not good! How does  that work!?

"Please!" I begged

"No." He answered.

"Please!"

"No."

"Please!"

"No!"

"PLEASE!!" I yelled, each time I said please I kept gradually getting louder, but this time, I got a few other peoples attention. Harry cocked and eyebrow at me like saying "really?"

"Fine, I hope your happy!" He told me.

"Don't worry I am." I told him with a smile on my face. I watched as he walked up to the stage, because the last act just got off. They weren't bad but I wasn't a fan.

I saw Harry walk up on the stage, then heard the music to Ed Sheeran's song Little Things (A/N: Get it because without One Direction Little Things would be Ed's song :D I thought it was clever!).

"You hand fits in mine like it's made just for me"

I was surprised when I heard Harry's voice. Not because I thought he wasn't good before, just because he thought he wasn't good.

"But bear this in mind it was meant to be

And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks

And it all makes sense to me"

"You were great Harry!" I exclaimed after he got off of the stage. I gave him a congratulatory hug, then sat back down in my seat, and Harry joined me. I looked up at a clock that was hanging on the wall. Time flew so fast I would have never guessed it was 10:30. My mum told me that I had to get hack by 11 because I would have to watch my brother. My mum worked tonight, and she has some trust issues with Dylan, because he caught our old house on fire when he was ten.

"I am going to have to go home soon, I have to watch my brother." I informed him. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and looked at me.

"Isn't your brother like 12?" He asked me and I nodded. "Shouldn't he be Able to take care of himself?"

"Yeah, my mum has trust issues with him though." I explained and he nodded. "But I still have time for one more drink."
