Harley's POV

I finally found Maddie about a mile into the woods. She was on the ground crying and holding her face. I went up to her. "What is wrong Maddie?" I asked moving her hand away from her face. I about screamed. She had one big gash going down from her eyebrow down like in the middle of her eye down to her mouth. "Holy Shit Maddie How the hell did this happened it looks like somone cut your eye with a knife!" I fell but i dont know what cut me. Is it really the bad?" She asked grabbing it. "Maddie just look for yourself." I said pulling out a mirror and handing it to her. Her mouth dropped and then she started crying. "Look at me. Just look how I am and what I have become." She said still crying. There was still dirt all over her face. "Maddie lets go to Willies house and get you cleaned up." I said lending out a hand. She didnt take it but sat there. "I cant. The reason why Cole was crying and Reed was mad is because I am moving out. I told Cole we cant be friends anymore." She said crying even more. I just looked at her like she was crazy. I sat back down and pulled her head up to look at me. "Maddie why would you do that? You and Cole are best friends and you screwed it up why because you didnt think he liked you. I am shocked because you just made it worse for yourself." I said getting up and starting to leave. "Wait then what would you jugest I do?" She said coming up to me. "Go over there and apologize and fix this now." I ordered. You could tell she was really nervous but we she still started walking out of the woods to the car. I kinda felt bad because I didnt know how this would end but I mean they couldnt loose their frienship because Maddie has like the worlds biggest crush on him and she doesnt think she ikes him. Thats just bullshit. 

Cole's POV

I hate myself. What happened to us? Why would she do this to me I mean what did I do. That question wont get out of my head. I have been crying nonstop. I locked myself in my room with nothing to do. I just kept looking at the photo me and Maddie took at the lake a little while ago. I cried harder and harder until I couldn breathe. Then I heard a car pull up it was Harley. I just went and layed back down in my bed but then I heard yelling. It was Reed. The only person he is mad at is......... It cant be. Why does he have to yell at her. Its not her fault I am a total idiot. Well I had to do something. I ran downstairs. Reed was yelling at her really badly and she was crying. I couldnt stand it even if she did hate me. I ran in there and smacked Reed. Everyones mouth dropped. I ran outside real fast and just started running into the woods. 

Maddie's POV

What I just witnessed was crazy. "Look what you did Maddie. My brother hates me now and it s all ur fault." Reed screamed. I burst out in tears and ran after Cole. I wasnt to far behind but still a distance. I could hear Cole crying as I got closer. I was almost up to him but I was barely breathing cuz I mean i have never run so fast in my life. I got just close enough that I jumped up and tackled him to the ground. I landed on top of him. He was face first. "Reed I am sorry please dont hurt me. I couldnt just stand there and let you yell at her." He said. I was a little shocked. I turned him over and he just smiled. "I am so sorry Cole I didnt mean what I said. I couldnt stand you being mad at me." I said giving him a tight hug. I felt him arms rap around me and I just smiled. "Maddie I could never be mad at you but I couldnt stand loosing you. I have never slapped Reed before but I couldnt stand him yelling at you." He said. I just lifted my head and looked into his eyes. We just smiled at each other. "Well hey I really dont wanna go back to the house yet I mean I just slapped my brother in the face so do you think maybe we could go stay out in the duck blind." He asked me. "Of course I think I have some food out there and I know there is a change of clothes." I said standing up and putting a hand out for him. He gladly took it.
