We park a couple streets away and then walk towards it. Lynn grabs my hand and squeezes hard. I tremble and my heart is in my throat but I have to stay calm and do this. We turn onto the street where the generator is located. Lynn's eyes unfocus and when she turns back to me she whispers, "they are inside."
I nod and then we walk up to the grey building housing the generator. I unlock the doors and step right in to the enclosed space. I stand back and admire the work of techological art that is right infront of my eyes. I stand there in awe untill Lynn says, "well stop staring at it and start getting ready to destroy this thing."
I snap out of my trance and then I turn my head to look at her, she is staring at me expectantly. I reply, "you're right."
I start unpacking my bag when the sound of a gun stops me dead in my tracks. Lynn stares at me and I can see the fear lurking behind her eyes. A booming voice sounds from behind me and says, "Put your hands behind your head and turn around slowly."
I do as he says and the whole time it feels like someone is crushing the air from my lungs. When I finally am facing them at first the light from their flashlights blind me but as my eyes slowly adjust I see the emblems on their suits. It is the same symbol tattooed on my calf. We are screwed. The same voice shouts, "slowly walk towards us."
I take a couple steps forward and then two men come upand pat Lynn and I down. When they are satisfied with their search and are surethat we don't have any weapons, they bring our hands behind our backs and tieour hands together with zip-ties. The men inject something in my arm and thelast thing I remember before the world turns black is them dragging us into ablack van with no markings.
