Chapter 3: Macy

Macy:

I watch as the a guy points a gun at the girls head.

"Colpiscimi," the girl says.

The guy shoots her and she falls to the floor. The guy starts laughing.

I can't believe we let the guys choose the movie. This is like the twentith person to die in this movie. And we're only thirty minutes into this movie.

I look next to me and see Lucy staring at the screen dazed as she puts popcorn into her mouth at a steady pace, over and over. I know she's not paying any attention to the movie. Something is really wrong with her. She's acting strange, and she's not talking about it. I'll have to talk to her later.

The movie finishes and we all walk out. As we walk out, we again attracted to the ally where we were before. Two different groups are dancing. The first group has just finished and the second group is about to start. They look out into the crowd and then one of the guys pulls the group into a huddle. In just a few seconds, they start dancing. The dance looks familiar. It reminds me of a dance I've seen before, but I don't remember where or which dance. The crowd is cheering. Lucy's eyes pop. Then, out of nowhere, she grabs Janessa's and my arms and pulls us out of the crowd. I grab Alex, who grabs Oliver, and Janessa grabs Jessica, who grabs Luke. We all make it out of the crowd together.

"Let's go, it's getting dark," Lucy says as she lets go of us and starts to walk towards the hotel.

"Lucy, are you okay?" I ask.

"I'm fine," she turns around and gives us a smile, which I totally know is fake. "I just don't want to be late."

We follow Lucy and joke around with each other until getting to the hotel. Once we're there, we check in with the teachers and go to our rooms. We each shower and change into our pajamas.

"So, today was fun," Alex says.

"Yeah. Lots. Did you see Sienna's drawings?" Lucy asks. "They are amazing."

"I know right!" Janessa says.

"I so wish I can draw like her," I say remembering Sienna's drawings. She's amazing!

"Yeah. So, what are we doing tomorrow?" Lucy asks.

"Tomorrow, we have a free day. So, we can do whatever pretty much. Until the afternoon when we have to go to some art gala," Alex replies.

"We should go to the Grand Canal!" Janessa exclaims.

"Yes! We should also go do shopping!" Lucy says excitedly. Of course she wants to do shopping.

"Well, I guess our day is pretty much set," I say. We all laugh.

"So," Janessa starts when there is a knock on our door. I get up to answer is and see Sage and Sienna.

"Hey," Sage says.

"Hey," I let them in.

"Our room is exactly the same," Sienna says looking at the beige colored walls with some white design and white crown molding and the white base boards. We all laugh.

"I'm pretty sure all the rooms are the same," Lucy says.

"Yeah. So, we saw the coolest dancers ever, today. I mean they didn't have better dancers than you, Lucy," Sage says and Lucy flips her hair playfully, "but they were really good."

"Ooh, were they the street dancers?" Janessa asks.

"Yeah. They were really good," Sienna say with a bright smile. "I don't know how dancers make dancing so easy. Lucy?"

"The same way artist like you make drawing and painting look easy," Lucy smiles. She's the best dancer we know that isn't famous.

"Haha," Sienna laughs. "I guess so."

"So, what are you guys doing tomorrow?" Alex asks.

"We, along with Jamee, are going to do some other sight seeing and see other places Sienna can draw," Sage says.

"Cool. We are going to do shopping and go to the Grand Canal," I say.

"Awesome! Maybe we'll see you at the Grand Canal, since that's one of the places where we plan to go," Sienna cheers.

"Yeah," Lucy says.

"Well, we'll see you guys later," Sage says as she and Sienna head towards the door. We all say good bye as they leave.

"Oh, jeez, we have to set out our outfit for the art gala tomorrow," Lucy says, cupping her face with her hands.

"We should get them out," Janessa agrees. We look into our suitcases, which we still haven't unpacked, and take out our fancy dresses. I take out light pink high low dress with thin straps. Janessa takes out a mermaid styled dress that is aqua teal in color. Lucy takes out dark red column dress that was cut on the right side all the way up to her mid thigh. Alex takes out a black and silver long formal halter dress.

"Ah! The dresses are so pretty!" Janessa squeals.

"Right! I love them all!" Lucy says. We hang up our dresses in the closet and set out our shoes.

After watching some TV in Italian (it's a good thing they made us take Italian language courses), we get in our beds and fall asleep.

An alarm wakes us up at 6 in the morning.

"Ugh! Lucy! Turn it off!" I complain.

"Why me?" Lucy asks getting up.

"Cause you're closer," Janessa says tirely. Once she turns it off, we all get dressed.

Alex and I wear shorts, though I wear a light blue shirt with pink heart on it and Alex wears a light green and thick white stripes shirt. Janessa and Lucy are both wear light jeans, though Lucy wears a red shirt and black leather jacket while Janessa wears a black shirt with the word LOVE written in pink.

"Ready to go?" Janessa asks.

"Yep," Alex replies.

"Let's go!" Lucy says.

"Yeah!" I say. We exit the room, inform the teachers, and start our day.
