A Life Full of Secrets And Lies

Chapter 1

I woke up to find my room in boxes, at that moment I remembered what day it was. It was moving day. The day that I didn't want to come the most. I got up and got ready and ran downstairs to see my mom making breakfast, this had surprised me due to everything that was originally in the kitchen had already been packed and shipped out to our new state. Yep you heard it not only are we moving out of my childhood home but we're also moving to a new state and city. Los Angeles, California. Crazy I know you would think I would be excited but since we're moving when I'm starting my freshman year of high school it wasn't really exciting.

There was a lot I was going to miss my best friend and my old house mostly, but there was also a lot things I wasn't going to miss like going to the same school with the same people that I've been going to school with since kindergarten.

 As I sit down to eat my breakfast I hear a knock at the door. I was about to get up and get it when in walks my best friend Lilly. "Hey Miss McCabe" Lilly said walking in and sitting at the table. "Hello Lilly how is everything?" my mom replied setting a plate down in front of her. "Good actually although I'll miss you guys once you leave." Lilly said eating her food. "We'll miss you too." mom said going back finishing breakfast. It was quiet until Lilly broke the silence "You ready for your last day of school?" She asked in a sad tone. "Yep, let's just hope that it goes better than the whole year went." I replied with nervousness in my voice because I knew exactly how today was gonna go. "Well let's just hope people are too distracted to even notice you." Lilly said noticing how nervous I was. "Like that will happen. You know Emma is going to do something, she always does." Emma is the meanest girl at my school. I never understood why she always bullied me I didn't do anything at least not that I'm aware of. "If she does then you know I'll punch her in the face." Lilly said laughing and which caused me to laugh as well. "You to should probably get to school before you're late." my mom said scaring us both. "All right. You ready to go Lilly?" I asked. "Yep! Thanks for the food Mis McCabe." She said as we walked out the door. After a while we had arrived and parted ways to go to our classes.

 Time passed quickly and it was already lunch. I found Lilly sitting by herself waiting for me and walked over and sat down with her. "Any problems yet?" she asked "There was one incident but it was nothing." I said eating my lunch. At that moment walking by us just so heppened to be Emma. As she walked by she 'dropped' her lunch on m head. "Opps. I'm sorry, I thought you were a trash can." she said with a fake tone.Lilly was about to get up and punch her but I stoped her and dragged her to the office and there I sat for what felt like forever till finally my mom picked me up and went home.
