Chapter 5

~ Mike's pov ~

I woke up and saw Tony sleeping peacefully. I didn't want to wake him up but he needed to be woken up.

"Tony." I said shaking him slightly.

"Five more minutes, ma." He groaned.

"I'm not your ma." I said. He chuckled and sat up a little stretching.

"Morning." He said.

"Morning." I said. "We need to get ready for sound check." I said.

"I know." He said. I climbed over him and got out of his bunk and I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I got out and dried off and I got dressed in my basketball shorts and a tank top. I put on my sneakers and my hat on my head and grabbed my wallet and phone and walked out to the front. Jaime and Vic were waiting.

"Where's Tony?" Vic asked.

"Shower." I said and sat down next to Jaime.

"When he gets out we're going to go grab breakfast." He said.

"Okay." I said and went through my texts that I had and responded to a couple of people. Tony walked out and we got up and walked off the bus. He looked like he wanted to hold my hand. I grabbed his hand and he smiled. We walked to ihop and walked inside.

"Someone will be right with you." A girl said. She was pretty hot, but Tony was hotter. I saw her staring at Tony. Tony took his hand from mine and I sighed. A guy walked over.

"A table for four?" He asked. We nodded and followed him. We got to the table and Tony sat beside Vic before Jaime could even sit down. I sighed and sat beside Jaime. The guy gave us our menus. "Your waitress will be right with you." He said and walked away. I looked through my menu not really feeling hungry anymore. The girl from before walked over.

"My name is Melody and I'll be your waitress for today. What can I get you guys to drink?" She asked pulling out her notepad and pencil.

"I'll have an iced tea." Tony said. We all got the same drink.

"Alright, I'll be back." She said and started walking away. Tony watched her as she walked away. I feel like I'm making a big mistake.

We were getting ready to leave but Tony wanted to get iced tea to go so Melody walked over with the to go cup filled and with something written on the side. He smiled and started talking to her.

"Fuck this." I said and got up and walked out of iHop. I kept walking and heard footsteps following behind. "Vic, leave me alone." I said knowing my big brother was following me to see if I was okay or not.

"No. Mike, what's your deal?" He asked. I turned to face him.

"My deal? He's over there flirting with the waitress when we're together. That's cheating, Vic." I said rather loudly.

"Keep your voice down." He said.

"No, fuck that. I'm going to the venue and I'm gonna warm up without you guys." I said and walked to the venue. I walked in and went straight to the stage. I put my earpieces in and grabbed my sticks and I started playing. I let all the rage I was feeling out and onto the drums.

We were getting ready to play and my hands were messed up because of how hard I was going with the drums earlier. I was waiting in front of Jaime to go on. Once we were told to go on, we walked on the stage and I raised my drum sticks in the air and walked to the drums and I set myself up a little.

"What's up, Chicago?!" Vic yelled into the mic and the crowd went crazy. This is seriously the best thing ever. "This is Bedless." Vic said and we started playing.

~ Tony's pov ~

I kept looking back at Mike while we were playing. I felt bad about what had happened in iHop. Yeah I was flirting with the waitress but I had to keep up that I was single and not gay.

"Tone, focus." Jaime said to me in my ear as he stood by me while we played back to back.

"Sorry." I said and smiled as we played. I jumped on one of the step things and started hyping the crowd up.

It was after the show and we were in the dressing room we had and Mike was going through every single length to avoid me. I sat beside him and he got up and walked out of the room. I sighed. Jaime sat beside me.

"What's going on?" He asked me quietly. Vic was texting and not paying attention to us.

"I had to keep up my appearance of being straight and single. That's why I was flirting with the waitress. I know it was messed up that I did that, but Mike knows that I don't want to tell everyone just yet." I said.

"You don't know my brother like you think you do." Vic piped in. I looked at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Mike really likes you. When he really likes someone he wants to show that person off no matter what." He said.

"Yeah, but he should understand how I am on that subject." I said.

"He does, but like I said, he just wants to show you off." He said.

~ Mike's pov ~

I walked to the closest pub and I walked in and sat at the bar.

"What can I get for ya cutie?" The bartender asked. I looked at her.

"Jack on the rocks, leave the bottle." I said. She nodded and served me.

"Anything to eat?" She asked.

"Actually, yeah. Can I get some onion rings?" I asked.

"Sure thing." She said and walked away. I sat there drinking and I saw that there was a football game on. Cowboys versus the Ravens.

"I think the Ravens are going to lose." A girl said from beside me. I looked over at her.

"Oh yeah? What do you think is going to be the ending of the game?" I asked.

"Romo is gonna score a touchdown." She said.

"We'll see about that." I said. She is really cute.

"I'm Sally, what's your name?" She asked. Finally, someone who doesn't know who I am.

"Mike." I said. We shook hands and I started eating the onion rings that were sat in front of me.

It was getting closer to the end of the game and Romo had won us the game with a touch down.

"Just like I said, Romo got the touch down to win the game." She said.

"You know a little something about football, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said. I paid for my stuff.

"Unfortunately, I have to get going." I said getting off the stool.

"Oh, come on. I'm sure you can stay a little longer." She said and grabbed my hand. I knew I was going to regret this.

"Maybe you should come with me." I said.

"Mm, I like the way you think." She said and paid for her stuff and we left to the bus. We walked on and walked to the back lounge. I shut the door locking it and when I turned around she pushed me on the couch and climbed on me and started kissing me rough.
