The next four days were normal. Only the occasional question of "How far until you meet him?" and "Who do you think its gonna be?" was out of the ordinary. But then, the fifth day came. I woke up to the sound of my buzzing alarm, showered, got dressed and ready, then looked back down at my clock. 0:04:05:15.5. My mom tried to get me to wear my frilly old girlish dress, but I thought I should be casual, so I left in my best skinny jeans and an old sweatshirt. I grabbed my pink Volkswagen backpack an my trumpet case and headed out to my bike. Once my case was hitched firmly to the back of my bike, I hopped on and rode to school, daydreaming of who, where, and how. When my bike had been firmly chained to the bike rack outside of door 13, I walked up to the door with Larry, my trumpet, and pushed open the band room door. When I walked in, my best friends, Katherine and Emerald, stormed me with questions and excited babble, grabbing my wrist and staring at it the whole time. I calmed them down and told them what Nic had said. "I can't fantasize about it. It will just ruin the suprise." "Suit yourself." said Katherine, and we all went to sit down.
