On my way home, I felt like i was floating on air. I had turned on the song "Home" by Phillip Phillips on my phone and pedaled all the way back. When I finally reached my garage door, I pulled my bike up to the door and chained it to the handle. I tiptoed all the way up to the front door and snuck inside. Luckily, no one was awake. I closed the door, took my shoes off, and found a note on the door.

Gone to bed. hope you had fun!

I quickly ran up the stairs to my bedroom and took my hair out of its braid. I put on some pj's and stalked over to Nic's room. I stopped at the door and prepared for the possible Nicolette-happy-storm. I breathed out, and opened the door a crack. "Nic? You awake?" I heard our pet hedgehog Jawn scuttle in his cage. "Yeah! C'mon let's talk!" She flipped the light on and pulled me onto her bed. "So? What did you do? Who was he? Gimme the details!" I laughed and began to tell her about him.
