As I walked alone in the hallway, I looked back down at my clock. 0:00:00:10. Ten seconds! Oh, my. I continued to walk in the hallway, only a little faster. Suddenly the bell rang, and I was late for class. So i continued to speed up until I was running up the steps to my locker's hallway. Suddenly, I ran into someone, and my clock clanged to the tile floor. I heard someone else's clang too as I looked up and saw his face. His head was roundish, and his hair was dark like the sky. His eyes sparkled like the stars, and his smile lit up his face. "So, you're my soulmate then? I guess it'll do." I frowned at him. "Oh, come on, I was joking! So.... You wanna ditch the rest of the day?" He held out his hand when he stood back up. We were allowed to take a few days off when we met our Match. I took his hand, and stood up, and we raced back to the office to sign out. When we handed the secretary our newly fallen clocks, she gave us a congrats and let us be on our way.
