Two years have passed since the date I called Bella after. A lot has happened, but the most recent tragedy was found in our very own home. Nate, Nicolette's husband, was found to be a forger. A forger is someone who fakes being a soulmate because they either marry for money or they can't stand being born as a 'single.' After major compatibility problems at their house, Nicolette took Nate's watch to a verifier, and he was found guilty of forging true love. So my sister walked out of his office with a fake watch, a ticket for a new 'soul-timer,' and a broken heart. After a month of wearing her new watch, Nic had cut off all of her luxurious hair in order to support cancer research, a tradition known as Saint Baldricks. Nate was sent to jail for forgery.
Friends have come and gone, and I've recently been shipped off to Skyvale University with classes for all kinds of things- I hadn't quite picked a major yet. I could go any direction- music, science, english, art... Art. Art classes were the hardest. They reminded me of Natt, and being away from him and my family for so long was the hardest thing I'd ever done, next to marching band of course. I'd been with him for two years now, and my friends here at the university got to know him through frequent video chats. For some reason unbeknownst to me, they started to call him Noodles when they first met him, and now the name has stuck. This coming week is winter break, and I'll get to spend a whole three weeks back home with Natt and my family.
