Theo's Family Meet Quinn

SHAI POV

It's been a month since we showed Quinn her room and she loves it so much. Today is January 14th and today I hit the 8 month mark of my pregnancy. One month until my beautiful baby boy is in my arms. I'm so excited!
Today is also the day that Theo's family is finally going to meet Quinn for the first time. She is nervous but also excited. She's mostly nervous because she thinks that they won't like her and won't welcome her into the family. I told her yesterday when she told me that, that they are going to love her and accept her.
Theo is picking them up at the airport at 1 and it's 11 so I should probably start getting ready. I put on a white long sleeve blouse with a black collar and black cuffs, black jeans, and red pumps. I put my hair in a messy ponytail and laid it loosely across my shoulder. My makeup consists on foundation, concealer, double black eyeliner, and red lipstick. I grab my red Coach purse and fill it with my wallet, keys, phone, and extra makeup.
When I go upstairs to wake up Quinn, I see that she is already up and dressed, now she is doing her hair. She is wearing a red knit sweater, a white cami underneath, black leggings, and grey UGGS. She looks like she is trying to pull her hair up into a messy bun but she is having a little bit of trouble so I go up behind her and help do it for her.
"Thanks mom! Now I look almost as pretty as you!" She tells me and gives me a hug.
"Aw Quinn! You're always so beautiful! Don't let anyone tell you different sweetie! Theo's family is going to love you! Don't worry!" I tell her as she pulls away and we head downstairs.
I already brushed my teeth and so did Quinn so we just went downstairs and sat on the couch to wait for Theo to get back with his family.

Lillian🐶- I'm so excited to see you again and meet Quinn!!!
Fiona👠- Me too Shai! Did you figure out a name for my nephew???
Me🙃- I can't wait to see you guys either!!! I'm so excited for you guys to finally meet Quinn!!! And yes, Theo and I did figure out a name but we won't be telling anyone until he is born. Sorry😐
Fiona👠- Damn it Shai! You know I hate surprises!
Me🙃- I said sorry😐

When I look up at Quinn, she looks like she is sending Snapchats to people so I turn on the TV and watch the news.

QUINN POV

While mom is on her phone laughing at God knows what, I text in this group chat with all of my friends.

Me👻- Heyyyyy!!!! I'm meeting my dad's family today!!! I'm so nervous!!!
Faith✨- Aww Quinn!! It'll be okay!! They are going to love you!!
Savannah🌸- Just be yourself and you'll be okay!!
McKenzie🙊- Stay positive boo!!
Joanna🎶- If they don't love you and accept you, I'll beat them up!!
Dana💯- It's their lose if they don't love you
Layla👓- I wish you the best girlie!!

I'm kind of obsessed with their nick name for me. After they text back that they love me, I go on Snapchat, take a selfie, and put the caption:

30 minutes later

SHAI POV

Quinn went to the bathroom and right after she left, Theo came in the house with the rest of the Taptikilis family. I immediately get pulled into a group hug by all of Theo's siblings and their spouses. After the group hug, I go over to hug Jane and shake Philip's hand. When I approach Jane she squeals and pulls me into a tight hug but not too tight so it doesn't hurt the baby.
When I walk over to Kelsey, she rubs my belly and starts talking to it. "Hi baby boy! I'm your cousin Kelsey and I love you so much! You are going to be spoiled like crazy!" After she finishes talking to my belly, she hugs me and the other three little ones run over to me. Greg, Harold, and Rose all look at my belly in admiration and they give me a hug before sitting on the couch with the rest of the family.
"Welcome to our house guys! Theo and I have someone that we want you guys to meet. I have no doubt in my mind that you guys won't accept her. Come in Quinn!" I tell everyone as Quinn comes into the living room looking really nervous.
"Hi everyone. I'm Quinn, I'm 13, and I'm very happy to be a part of this family!" She tells everyone as they all get off of the couch and embrace her into a huge group hug. The only one that wasn't in the group hug was Kelsey.
"What's wrong Kels? Why aren't you in the group hug?" I asked her concerned.
"Shai why? Why did you adopt her? I don't like her! She is going to replace me! You and Theo are the worst!" She yells at me and runs upstairs. When Kelsey ran up the stairs, Quinn started crying!
"I knew that someone wasn't going to like me! I knew it!" Quinn sat on the couch with her head in her hands.
"No Quinn no! She probably just has to get used to there being someone older than her in the family. Trust me, by the end of the week, you guys will be best friends! I guarantee that!" I tell her as the whole family sits on the couch and Theo goes up to talk to Kelsey.

THEO POV

I feel so bad for Quinn when Kelsey started crying and yelling. After Quinn calmed down a little and my family went and sat with her on the couch, I decided to go upstairs and talk to Kels to maybe get her to become friends with Quinn.
"Hey Kels. Are you okay?" I ask her she I get to mine and Shai's room to see her sitting on the edge of the bed.
"No Theo! I'm not okay! Why would you do this to me? I love being the oldest and the oldest princess in your life! Why would you adopt someone who is going to replace me?" Kelsey yells at me and starts crying again.
"Kelsey Anne. Nobody will ever replace you. Quinn is a member of this family now and she is going to be loved just as much as you, Harold, Greg, Rose, and the baby boy in Shai's belly. You, Rose, and now Quinn are my princesses and that won't ever change and I want you to know that. I love you all and all I want is for you to accept Quinn in this family and hopefully become her friend. It wasn't easy for Quinn to meet you guys today. She was scared that no one would accept her. Can you please do me a favor and try to get along with her? Please? For Shai and me? Your favorite aunt and uncle?" I ask her as she hugs me and nods so I know that she is listening.
"Of course Theo! I'm sorry! I let my jealousy get ahead of me and I hurt her feelings! Plus, she seems like a sweet girl!" Kelsey hugs me again and runs downstairs. After a couple minutes, I head downstairs to see Kelsey and Quinn hugging.

I knew they were going to get along!
