- Karma's POV -
His eyes were locked on me like I was pulling a prank on him. Which I wasn't.
"What?" He asked, a creepy smile on his lips. I nodded and pulled on his cheeks. "Dude, wipe that smile off your face, it's not funny. Just creepy."
He slapped away my hands and slapped himself with both. "That's not the point. Are you literally inviting me to stay with you?"
"Yeah, is it that surprising?"
"YES! No one even bothered to learn my name, let alone invite me to their place," he explained with absolutely no pride in his statement whatsoever. I gotta admit, that was pretty sad.
However, I spread my lips across my face to form a genuine smile, my hand outstretched so he'd put his own in it. "C'mon."
He was flushed pink and took my hand, curling his bruised fingers onto my icy cold palm. "Thank you, reall-"
"Yeah okay," I interrupted him with every intention of doing so. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him into me again. This time, I wrapped his other arm around my neck like a supporter of some kind. He was almost lifted off the ground due to his very girl-like stature. "Ready?"
"I told you I can walk. You can put me down, ya' know," Nagisa groaned, his light blue hair flowing behind his ear to reveal a recent bruise. He flinched when I started walking anyway. "Hey."
"Hm? What's up?"
"Look, you're taking things a bit too fast," he confessed out of nowhere.
"What's that suppose to mean? It's not like we're dating. I'm just bringing you to my house. Big deal."
The hand on my shoulder clenched itself into a fist, his cut fingers probably causing him massive and unimaginable pain."I-I know. Trust me I do, but I, well you and I, we j-just-" he stammered unintentionally. I kinda got fed up with it, so I slipped my hand from his waist to his slender and warm neck.
"C'mon already, spill," the tone of my voice turning from friendly to seductive.
He shuddered at my sudden touch, shaking it off while squeaking like a run over mouse. "God, please stop that."
"Well I'm happy to know that I'm a God in your eyes."
"You know what I mean, ass-hat." He touched his neck, rubbing it gently so he'd feel not so contaminated. "I just, well, you're inviting me to your house and I don't even know your name yet. I'd call that a bit fast."
I tried looking in my memories to recall me spouting out my name to him. I couldn't seem to find it. "Oh yeah, I guess I haven't."
"Geez," he sighed. "I barely even know you and you barely even know me. Why the hell would you even think about inviting a random stranger to your house? How could you be sure that I'm not an assassin trying to kill you for all you know?"
He does make a good point, but I had a rebuttal the moment he even mentioned me inviting him.
"Dude, I trust you."
He looked surprised. "What?"
"You look, trustworthy. I haven't found a reason for me not to put my faith in you. Maybe you should consider the same thing every once and while," I stated. A scoff was audible to my ears as he was keeping himself from laughing.
"Oh please, the last time I trusted someone they beat me senseless. You can preach whatever you believe in, but you're not gonna change my view of people, no matter how persuasive you are."
I turned my head to the smaller boy, only to meet myself with his face unusually close and his chin burying itself into my shoulder. "Have you even told one person your entire collection of secrets?"
