- Nagisa's POV-

Pupils he welded dilated like he just saw a ghost after summoning a demon. Or vice versa I don't really know. "What did you just say?" The sadist asked, his hands trembling surprisingly.

I shook my head, kinda regretting saying what I said. "Nevermind. Let's just go back to your place. My feet are aching for a nice place to rest on."

For a moment, he just stood there staring at me while I took a few steps towards our destination. "Um, alright then."

Seems like he cleared himself out of his own haze.

We started walking together again, his shoes clacking against the pavement as mine barely rang out because of the ogre's giant feet stomping beside me.

"Hey, Nagisa."

I spun my head to my right to face him. "Yeah?"

"Just out of curiosity," he started, almost already knowing I was gonna need even more of his help. "Did you bring your textbook? And your homework with you? I mean, tomorrow is a damn big test."

"What? I wouldn't be carrying that everywhere I-" Oh shit. He's got a point. "Oh fuck! I didn't bring anything with me! Ugh, I'm so stupid sometimes!" I clutched some of my hair between my grasping fingers, breathing heavily until Karma took my wrists in his grip once more. My worry subsided as I expected him to give me a speech about how cheating isn't necessarily illegal, but instead was handed something much different.

"Nagisa, you're listening right?" He asked in a whisper, the tone of his voice sounding like it belonged to a therapist or councillor.

My fingers started to tremble again. "Y-Yes."

He smiled, his ombre eyes once piercing and had the ability to capture me in a trance turned soft, a comforting feeling washing over me. "We're just gonna head back to my place." He paused, an expression showing that he was deep in thought showed. I only wish I knew what went on in that brain he welded. "Promise me this. You're gonna stay in my room. Don't look out the window. I'll find a way."

My worry died, instead being replaced by utter confusion as I pulled his hands down from my head. "A way to what? S-Sorry but I don't really get what you're hinting at here."

A chilling smirk ran over his once comforting  facial features. "Oh don't worry, you don't have to."

That menacing look on his face. That serious tone that didn't show signs of anything pleasant.

It didn't feed off a good vibe.

I scrunched my eyebrows as a result of my realization of his unpleasant intentions. "Just what exactly are you going to do?" I clenched my fists, my face probably red at the answer I was hoping wasn't gonna fall from his lips.

"Like I said, there's no need to worry Na-"

"Shut the hell up about not worrying!" Before I even knew it myself, I had extended my arm to him and had my index finger pointing at his chest accusingly. "There's no way I can't worry about what happens to either of you two! You were gonna break into my house, weren't you?"

His red hair elegantly covered his eyes, his hand reaching to put a lock of it behind his ear. "Well we can't exactly break into a school."

I fucking knew it.

"Jesus Christ! For fuck's sake, stop!" I turned around on my heel and started walking away, heading toward my house instead of his as the residing footsteps only made me pick up my pace.

Once I've heard him come close enough to actually be frightened, I stopped, feeling the gust of wind brush up against my back as I knew he was right behind me again.
