The first time Clyde had ever cried in front of you, you had tried to comfort him and allow him to confide in you, even though the reason was more than stupid. Tweek had accidentally knocked his taco out of his hand. At first he stared at it blankly, as if he didn't know what to do with whatever just happened. Then, after a moment, you heard him sniffle. You had thought he was joking in the beginning, playfully fake crying just to be funny, but after you looked up from your game on your phone and saw crystalline tears running down his cheeks, you knew he wasn't just messing around. Tweek had apologized profusely, and after a long hug from you and small amounts of comforting words, he was fine. You bought him a new taco and he smiled and thanked you in an obnoxiously loud tone, and you merely smiled in response, ruffling his already messy hair.

Though you were less than impressed by his childish attitude and sensitivity, you could still understand it. You could be a bit too sensitive at times as well, and so you couldn't hold it against him or anything. You had just shrugged it off and kept yourself from mentioning it or teasing him about it, for fear of making him cry again. The closer you had gotten to him, the more you could see how sensitive he really was in contrast to the "cool jock" façade he normally masked it with. You'd never tell him, but even before you saw this side of him, you still found him pretty dorky. Not that you didn't like that about him. In all honesty, you liked a lot of things about him. Including his sensitivity, because it gave you an excuse to hold him. Yeah, you're a pretty sappy fuck, but you're proud.

This time he had come to your doorstep bawling his eyes out, and luckily your guardian(s) wasn't/weren't home or else they'd probably scold your for having someone over without permission. You let him inside and into your room, where you both sat on your bed as you held him close, tears beginning to stain your shoulder. Your voice came out soft and caring as you ran a gentle hand through his hair. "Hey, what's wrong...? Did someone do something...?" He nodded, hiccuping and stuttering as he hugged you close, much to your liking. You didn't like seeing him cry at all, but affection was one of your favorite things to get from anyone, especially the person you've been crushing on for a while now. "What did they do, hun? Who was it? I'll talk to them if you want, they should apologize for making you feel sad." Clyde shuffled and looked up at you with watery eyes and flushed cheeks, shaking his head. "N-no, don't talk to him... He didn't mean to, b-but Craig called me stupid, a-and he said that I'd never get a g-girlfriend, a-and I know he was just joking, b-but still! It really m-made me feel bad..." He thought, now that he said it out loud, that it really was a dumb reason to get upset, but he couldn't help it. He was emotional by nature, it wasn't his fault. He knew you'd understand, you always did. That's why he liked you so much.

You clicked your tongue, softly glaring at nothing in particular to show that you knew why he'd be offset by that type of thing. "Well that wasn't very nice of him, even if he was joking. I'd be hurt too if someone told me that." You blushed a bit before continuing, "And just for the record, with your looks and hella cool personality, you could get any girl you wanted, man. Shit, I'd probably say yes if you asked me out, right now." You blushed harder, internally cursing at yourself for basically confessing, though what you said was true, and "probably" was a major understatement. Clyde blushed a bit and blinked at you, holding you tighter. He wiped away his tears and stared at you with his wide, soft brown eyes. "R-really...? You would...?" You his your face in your hands, though you nodded embarrassedly. "I-I'm sorry Clyde, I know you don't like me or anything, and like, I don't want to make you feel awkward or anything, so you can ignore that part if you want I guess, sorry for bringing it up, I shouldn't have even said anything, oh god please don't hate-" you were cut off as he pulled you onto his lap and buried his face into your neck to hide his bright red face and goofy smile. "C-Clyde-" "I REALLY LIKE YOU TOO!" He shouted, though it was slightly muffled and you could tell he was extremely excited. His words made you smile, and you wrapped your arms him happily, a warm blush settling over your cheeks. "I'm glad..." You felt tears on your shoulder again, and began to panic a bit. "Clyde, d-don't cry!" "I'm sorry, I-I can't help it!"

Yeah, he was a total crybaby. But he was your crybaby.

Kenny walked up to you two the next day, as you were scrolling through your music on your phone, and said something you couldn't understand. You tilted your head at him in confusion. "I'm sorry, but what the fuck are you saying?"

He pulled down his hood a bit and smirked at you. "You two are like, a thing now right? A couple or whatever?" You nodded, wondering where the hell he was going with this. "Yeah...?" Oh god, he's going to- "So have you fucked yet?" You glared at him, reaching out and smacking him on the shoulder. "Oh my god, Kenneth!" He laughed and walked away, and you puffed out your cheeks in annoyance. You heard Clyde sniffle behind you.

This was going to be a long day.
