The Decision

Chapter 5

The time finally arrived for Lisa's party. After a long week of rubrics and not understanding what was going on in class because I started the school year late; I was totally ready to just get wasted.

We all decided to get ready and just stay the night at Thea's house after the party, because her and Lisa lived in the same neighbourhood. Since we planned to get pretty messed up, driving was out of the question anyway. So we decided we were just going to walk and hope we don't fall on our drunk asses on our return to Thea's house. Apparently her parents go to sleep super early and are deep sleepers; so us coming in late or drunk won't really matter.

The party started at ten, and just went on until everyone either decided to go home, or blacked out. Tori and I arrived at Thea's house 8:30. I personally can get ready in like thirty minutes, but from living with Tori I've gathered it takes others a bit longer.

"I'm so freaking excited! I mean I've gone to a bunch of kickbacks this year, but I haven't been to a party since probably the end of summer!" Tori screeched.

"You sound like like mouse Tori, chill out." I said wincing at the high pitch of her voice.

Tori just ignored me and skipped her way up Thea's cobblestone driveway to ring her doorbell. I heard the faint clicking noise of the bolts in the door being loosened as Thea unlocked the door. Thank god someone in this friend group has sense enough to lock doors. I mean really, you'd think almost being robbed at gun point would make the girls a little more cautious.

Thea opened the door and was just wearing a silk robe with bunny slippers, and her hair was in curlers under a bonnet.

"Wow I'm loving the look Thea, that hair style will definitely turn heads." Tori said in a teasing manner.

Thea rolled her eyes. " Yeah yeah, get inside whore. I don't want any of my neighbours to see me like this. You know that guy across the street is recently widowed and super rich. I fear I won't be able to seduce him if he ever sees me like this." She says with a laugh.

Arianna suddenly came up behind me and Tori and pushed us through the door way so she could get in.

"Don't be silly babe. With how sexy you are, no one could resist." Arianna said with a wink and playfully slapped Thea's ass.

"You're just being a kiss up so that I'll decide that I'm not feeling too lazy to straighten your hair. You're not slick." Thea said with a knowing look on her face.

"Okay you got me. Daren thinks it's easier to tug on my hair when he doesn't have to worry about his fingers getting tangled in my beautiful wavy locks." Arianna said with a over-exaggerated hair flip.

"Let's face it, I'm obviously the only one besides Vera who'd know how to do your hair anyway. Besides, the last time you did it yourself you ended up burning the fuck out of your hand."

"Ooh yeah that hurt. I'm glad that Stella's dad was able to take a look at that. It could've scarred if I didn't get some ointment." Arianna said scrunching up her nose at the memory.

"Where's your boy toy at?" Tori asked curiously.

Arianna let out a snort. "Who knows. I don't even know if he's coming to the party. With all the cute college guys there, won't really matter if he does." She said with a playful smirk.

"How about you Tori? Is your little boy toy going to be there?" Thea asked.

"I guess it depends if you guys mean Levi or that guy who asked her out." I said with a smirk on my face.

Thea and Arianna both busted out laughing, while Tori's face got red.

"Wha- I don't even like Levi! We're just friends- wait we're not even friends!" Tori said with a huff.
