chapter 5: the journey

The next morning I woke up to my phone ringing so loud. I was already in a bad mood because it was 7am and I normally sleep in till 9 or 10. I also didn't get much sleep because I went to sleep late.

"Hello?" I said with my voice really scratchy.

"Hey, It's me Jonathan."

"Why are you calling so early?!" I sounded a bit angry.

"Well we need to start our journey."

"Jonathan if nature means to get up at 7 then sorry can't do it, I give up."

I heard him laugh on the other line.

"Come on, it's worth it." he said

"Fine. See you in a little."

"Ok."

I hung up the phone and got up and got ready. After an hour of getting ready we met each other at Mel's Diner because we both lived close.As I'm walking up you could tell I had bags under my eyes. I hate getting up early and having bags under my eyes but I mean I don't mind because I know he won't judge me. We ordered some food and left. When we left we started walking a lot, I felt like feet where about to fall off. Every time I looked at him he always had a smile on his face and was just happy. Which made me feel happy.It got late so I invited him to my place.

"Do you want to watch a movie." I asked.

"Sure what are your options?" he asked

"I don't know if you've seen Jurassic Park because it just came out. Do you want to watch it?" I asked.

"I love that movie! Let's watch it! Unless you don't want to."

"Are you kidding it's one of my favorites right now, I'm putting it on." I said with a smile on my face.

As we were watching I turned around and looked at him.His arm was on my shoulder and we had a blanket covering us. He slowly noticed I was starring at him, I started blushing when he saw me.

"I've had so much fun with you, ever since I met you." I said as my stomach filled with butterflies.

He chuckled.

"Really? Miss I don't like getting up early and looking at nature. By the way I still owe you a shirt."

We both laughed. When we finished laughing he leaned in and kissed me.I couldn't be more happy. We both finished the movie and fell asleep on the couch together.
