chapter 12: new years

The New Year was coming up. It was about to be 1999. The year I'm going to graduate and wander around the world filming all kinds of movies. I really wasn't sure what was going to happen with Jonathan.I didn't worry much about it though, and I won't until the day comes. It was December 31,1998 today but it was early in the morning I had all day to get ready and sleep a bit. Jonathan and I were planning on going out. We decided to go to his place for New Years because he was staying with me for some or summer. His parents decorated there house with a lot of balloons everywhere. It was really pretty once you walked in.

"Jonathan! Jessica! The countdown is going to start in two minutes! Come down so you don't miss it!" His mom called out

"Let's go." I said leaving the room

We were watching a movie and eating popcorn but we already had seen the movie so it was fine if we missed it.

"Three...Two...One! Happy New Year!"

Jonathan grabbed my waist and kissed me before I could finish saying "Happy New Year"

"Year."

"What?" he said laughing

"You didn't let me finish, I was saying the countdown and only got to finish to say "Happy New" until you kissed me unexpectedly." I said chuckling

"That's what I do." he said while we both laughed

A couple of hours passed and I was exhausted,about to pass out. I got in the shower and then went to sleep. We didn't even say goodnight which we normally do. It was more like "I'm getting in the shower." Then bang I passed out. You can't blame me, it was 2am about to be 3. Over all the New Year was starting and a whole other chapter. A very fun and busy one since I'm leaving school and starting fresh. My new chapter of getting a house and who knows what next. I'm excited to start this year, I can tell it will be a great one.

Sorry I haven't posted in forever! I've been busy with the holidays and everything. Happy New Year to all of you guys though! Thank you for reading my story. Yes it's a short chapter but I tried.
