My flight was late at night, I had slept the whole way so I had hours to kill in the city. As I'm walking, I saw so many people in a rush because it was a Monday morning.I ended up grabbing a smoothie before I went to settle down in my apartment.As I'm walking, someone bumps into me in the middle of nowhere. I looked down on my blouse and didn't even realize it was completely ruined with coffee until I looked and felt the heat compress on my skin. When I looked up a guy was standing getting napkins. He pulled me aside a stand of food and said
"I am really sorry. I wasn't looking and I can buy you a new shirt, I promise."
"It's really ok, I can go and change." I said.
"Let me take you out to lunch and I'll pay." he said.
I was thinking of what I should say, I mean I had just gotten to New York, I don't know anyone. My mom did always say to take chances so I did.
"Sure I would love to, I'm Jessica Barcklay by the way, you are? "
"I'm Jonathan, Jonathan Brandis."
