To Love A Hedgehog (Sonic X Human!Reader) (COMPLETED)

Beach day

Today was the grand opening of the Emerald Coast Resort. You all packed your things in the X Tornado, you decided to bring a handgun just in case something happens. With Eggman hanging around, no one knows when he'd attack. 

"We're gonna have the most fun ever!" Amy beamed. 

"This is the first time I have ever been to the beach. Aren't you excited, Cheese?" Cream asked her Chao friend who replied with a cute chao. 

"We'll stay together okay Cream?" S/N said and Cream nodded with a cute smile. 

"Engines, OK! Ready to take off for the Emerald Coast!" Tails said.

"Be careful not to get noticed, okay?" Chris advised the others.

"If they stay around the back side of the resort plaza, they shouldn't run into anyone." Chuck reassured him.

"I'm just worried because neither Y/N and I won't be around." Chris sighed and took out the invitation.

"It's just one of those parties where you only have to show up. No one will notice if you decide to leave halfway through." Chuck continued which made him smile.

"My friends and I will hang out just on the other side of the plaza. Can't wait!" You exclaimed. You were wearing a plain F/C shirt with light blue shorts and flip flops. You had your F/C bikini as your under clothing. 

"Well then have fun with them Y/N." Chuck smiled.

"Sonic, after that let's go swimming!" Chris said to Sonic who was resting on a ledge of the garage wall (A/N: I have no idea).

"What's so fun about huge waves?" He asked uninterested with his eyes half open.

"Sonic, don't tell me you're not coming!" Amy scolded. He jumped off and landed in front of her.

"Absolutely! Have fun!" He said before running off. 

"Doesn't Sonic like being around us?" Chris asked, a bit worried.

"It's not that, Chris." You started.

"He's just weak around water because he can't swim." She finished.

"Oh yeah, that's right." Chris remembered. 

"Sonic hates places that he can't cross by running." Tails added.

"I wonder if the two of us will ever have a date by the ocean..." Amy wondered.

"Probably never." You coughed. She turned her head towards you suspiciously.

"What was that?" She asked.

"Oh nothing!" You retorted. You didn't want to be mean, but you really wanted her to face reality and not stuck in her own world.

Ella called on Chris onto the car. You all wished Chris good luck for he had to attend a boring ceremony. You hugged him to encourage him and ruffled his hair. You get into the plane with your sister on your laps due to the lacks of seats and took off. You called on your friends to let them know that you were on your way. 

Sonic on his side was enjoying sniffing a flower in a beautiful flower field. "This is so much better" He said. "I should bring Y/N here one day." 

Once you arrived, you got your stuff and left to find your friends Sakura Catherine. When you did, you three had a very nice group hug and finally went into the water. Your stuff lied on the sand while you enjoyed your time with your friend.

"The water feels so nice!" Sakura exclaimed. 

"You can say that again~" Catherine agreed.

You three floated on your backs while connecting hands, slowly drifting away. After a a minute or two, you realized that you had gone too far from the coast line.
