Hey everyone! Welcome to the very 1st chappie! I had originally written a rough draft for this, but I've decided to re-do it and make it up on the spot.
I hope you'll like it!

"Samantha Grace Hensworth, if you don't get out of this bed in ten seconds, I will seriously drag you out of it," Reed sat on Sam's bed, shaking her shoulder. He had been trying to wake her up for the past five minutes, but the girl refused to get up.
"Ugh," Sam whispered into her pillow. "Just five more minutes."
"No," Reed said, as he began to shake her shoulder a little harder. "Now get up. Don't make me have to tickle you."
Sam groaned and pushed her head underneath her pillow. "You are the most annoying brother ever, Reed. Has anyone ever told you that?"
Reed let out a chuckle. "Well, no. But they have called me evil..."
All of the sudden, Reed began to tickle Sam's ribcage. She began to push his hands away, tears forming in her eyes because of her hard laughter.
"St-Stop!" She said, as she gasped for air. He continued to tickle her, letting out obnoxious, fake evil laughter as he did so.
"I warned you!" He said, as Sam pushed herself away and stood from her bed. "Awake now?"
She glared at him as he stood from the bed as well. He kissed her forehead and then pulled her into a hug. "Unfortunately..."
"Well, I just don't want you to be late for your first day of school!" Reed said, as he pulled away from her and looked into her eyes. "You are a junior this year, after all!"
Sam rolled her eyes and then grew a grin. "It's such an honor."
Reed pushed some of her hair behind her ear. "Well, it does mean that my baby sisters are growing up."
He began to form a tear and they slid down his cheek. He pulled her into another hug and she began to giggle slightly.
"Reed, please don't tell me you're crying!" Sam exclaimed, as she pulled apart from him. He looked her up and down and then took in a shallow breath.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," He began, as she grinned at him. "It's just that you and Cami are growing up so fast... Mom and Dad would've been so proud of you two."
Sam watched as her brother continued to look into her eyes. "They would've been so proud of you too, Reed."
Her brother grab under her chin, lightly, and pulled her forehead to his lips. She stood with her eyes closed as he touch her head with his own. "I'm so proud of you too, Sammi."
She smiled at him and they pulled apart, once more. "Well, now you're making me late!" She winked at him and he smiled at her.
"Go and get ready. I've got to go and help Cami get dressed," Reed glanced around to the wall clock. "You've got about forty-five minutes."
Sam nodded and the two began to go their separate ways. Reed walked down the hallway to Cami's room and opened up the door. Cami was sitting on the floor, playing with her dolls and still clothed in her flower-covered footy pajamas.
"Reedy!" She exclaimed as he entered into her room. He pulled her up into his arms, squeezing her to his chest. She hugged back, enthusiastically and then he pulled her out to look into her eyes.
"Good morning, cutie," He whispered, as he placed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Are you ready for your first day?"
She began to nod, excitedly. He chuckled as she wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her face into him. "I'm going to be in kindergarten!"
"Yes, you're going to be a big girl, aren't you?" He whispered into her ear. She nodded into his neck and he smiled, closing his eyes in the embrace. "You are so much more enjoyable in the morning than your sister."
She began to giggle into his neck. "She says it because you won't let her drink coffee..."
Reed laughed at his sister comment, admiring that she was already learning to be humorous. He set her down on the floor and bent down to her eye-level. "Can you get dressed by yourself, or do you need my help?"
Cami crossed her arms, trying to look older and more sophisticated. "I can do it, Reedy."
Reed shrugged his shoulders and grinned at her. "Okay, Miss Grown Up, get dressed in your uniform, brush your teeth, and be ready to go in about 25 minutes, then we'll eat breakfast. Okay, sweetie?"
"Okay, Reedy!" She said, as she began to push him lightly out of her room. He chuckled as she did so and then glanced back at her.
"Are you positive that you don't need any help?" Reed asked, one last time. Cami began to shake her head and continued to push his legs forward.
"I can do it!" She exclaimed. "I know I can, Reedy."
She fully pushed him out and he faced her one last time. "Alright, I will see you soon, Miss Hensworth."
Cami giggled and then shut her door. He stood in the hallway for a few seconds and then began to walk to the kitchen. Sam was already there, eating a strawberry yogurt. "I swear, that girl gets more and more like you each day."
Reed laughed and then leaned up against the counter. "Well, she's certainly learned a lot from you, too. How she is always so certain that she can do everything by herself and-"
Suddenly, there was a loud knocking at the front doors. Reed and Sam looked at it curiously and then the young man began to walk over to them. He unlocked one to find a young woman with light brown curls and deep blue eyes. She wore a worn out light blue button-up and black jeans with black Converse. There was a small boy next to her which Reed could only describe as a younger version of himself. The boy had chestnut hair that swept over his face, greenish blue eyes, and porcelain colored skin. He wore a red sweater and tan pants with brown leather shoes. The woman held onto the boy's hand, as she began to look into Reed's eyes
He stared deeply into her's. Silence took over for a moment as the two stood, completely lost in each other's eyes.
Reed couldn't but help feel a smile form as he finally whispered to the woman. "Christy?"
