"Christy?" Reed began as he stepped closer to the woman. "Is that really you?"
She slowly nodded her head. "H-Hi Reed..."
Reed suddenly pulled her into a hug, keeping her head on his chest.
"What are you doing here? You look like you've been crying your eyes out," He whispered into her ear. The woman began to shudder slightly and he tightened his grip on her.
"We got kicked out of our apartment," She explained to the man as she pulled away from him. "They gave us two hours to get out. I just didn't know where else to go..."
The woman looked down to the floor and began to shake slightly. Reed pulled her into another hug and let out a caring sigh. "We have plenty of room here."
She nodded and pulled away from him. Reed pulled his attention down to the small boy. The boy gazed up at the man in absolute awe. "And who is this good-looking young man?"
Reed crouched down to the boy who looked down to the floor, shyly.
"That's James," Christina said, as she placed a hand on the boy's back.
"Well James, my name's Reed," The young business man said, as he stuck his hand out to the boy. James grasped onto it, lightly, and shook it. "Did you know that 'James' is my favorite name in the whole, entire world?" James began to shake his head and began to grin, slowly. "How old are you, James?"
The boy held up five fingers and Reed grinned and ruffled his auburn hair. "How old are you, Mr. Reed?"
"Twenty-six," Reed replied to the boy.
The boy gasped at the man's answer. "That's so old!"
Reed and Christina looked at each other and began to bust out in laughter. Reed rose back up to his feet, continuing to grin down at the boy. Suddenly, Cami appeared from behind Reed's legs.
Christina smiled down at the girl. "And who's this little cutie?"
Cami waved and smiled at her, while Reed placed a hand on her back. "That's Cami."
The small girl stuck her hand out to Christina who took it, instantly. "Well it looks like Reed has taught you a lot things, hasn't he?"
Cami nodded, "He told me to always shake people's to show professionalism."
Christina laughed and then Reed reached down and picked Cami up, placing her on his hip.
"Well, you two should get in here," The man said, as he motioned for the them to come inside the penthouse.
The woman and boy stepped inside and gazed around in the spacious and luxurious home. Reed set Cami back down onto the floor and she scampered off to join Sam in the kitchen. He turned and faced the two again, looking down at James.
"You can go get some breakfast, if you want. Sammi and Cami can help you," Reed said to him. James gazed his blue orbs up at Christina who nodded at him to go on. As the boy toddled away, Reed gazed back at Christina. "Since when do you have a brother?"
Christina looked down to the floor, looking almost ashamed. "He's my son..."
"Who's the father?" Reed asked, as he crossed his arms.
"Reed," Christina breathed out. "I can't tell you...I'm sorry."
He stared down at the woman and sighed. "It's fine, I guess."
The woman grinned, lightly. "But really thank you for letting us stay here. I had no idea where we would go."
Reed nodded, "It's no problem. This penthouse is huge for goodness sake, especially when there are only three people in here."
"Your parents always liked big things though, Reed," Christina commented.
He began to chuckle, "That they did..."
"...I am really sorry to hear about what happened to them, Reed. They were really great people," Christina said to the man who was trying to keep a strong face.
"It really changed us," He began, as Christina nodded. "Especially Sam...she just wanted to rebel and push herself away from me. It's just like she didn't want to accept that legally she was mine, you know?"
"Oh absolutely," Christina whispered. "I've had plenty of family problems in my life, too."
Reed nodded and pushed some of her curls behind her ear. "God, I've missed you, Christy."
"I've missed you, too, Reed..." Christina whispered. Almost by instinct the two pulled into a soft kiss. Reed wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him. They stood there for a bit, completely lost in the other's fimilar embrace and touch.

Sam walked into the main Lenchester hallway. As she walked through, a few girls waved and grinned at her, as she did the same back to them.
She reached her locker and dialed in her combination. She grabbed her books and then shoved her bag inside. As she slammed it shut, a boy with shorter black hair and green eyes walked up beside her. As he leaned up against another locker, he gave her a flirty smile.
"Sam Hensworth," The teenage boy began to her, as she rose up her eyebrows. "You've certainly changed a lot over the summer. All good changes, of course."
Sam rolled her eyes. "And Stephen Remington, you've changed over the summer, as well. All annoying changes, of course..."
She began to try and walk away, but Stephen blocked her pathway.
Stephen Remington was a tall, lean teenage boy that Sam had gone to school with for four years. His father, Phillip Remington, was one of her brother's company's partners. And to the teenage son of the business man, Sam apparently had a massive crush on him...which honestly made the girl gag.
Sam pushed past him, hearing him call her name the further and further that she went. As she rounded a corner, she felt herself collide with another student. Their notebooks and text books fell to the floor and scattered around. Sam, instantly, began to help the teenage boy pick up his things.
"I am so sorry," She said, as she handed him his books. She looked into his eyes and felt herself go numb. She felt tears forming in her eyes and a grin growing on her face. "...Justin?"
