She felt so cold, her body shivering, and it was so dark. Why was it so dark!? Wendy opened her eyes, hoping to find some relief but to her horror there was none. There was only more darkness. There she stood on what seemed like a never ending ocean, but, this ocean was calm. Not a single thing breaking it's perfect surface. It unsettled her. The water wasn't clear, because, it was reflecting the sky above her making the water ink black. The only color that broke through was the color of her own figure. She found comfort in the sunset red of her hair, the bright emerald of her eyes. Though she was completely in the buff. Her pale skin seeming to radiate inside this murky black water.

Lifting her eyes she tried to see how far the water went on for. The sight filled her with dread. No matter which way she turned her eyes found nothing but endless water and blackness. Panic raced through her heart sending a shock through her entire body.

"Hello!" She yelled her nerves causing her voice to go an octave higher. "Is anyone here?"

She frantically swiveled on her feet and strained her ears. Trying to catch a sign from anyone or anything that might be near. Nothing came.

"Dad! Mr. Pines! Dipper! Tambry! Mabel! Somebody please answer me!" She yelled at the top of her lungs and once again she was met with silence.

She sat down holding her knees and buried her face inside them. She rocked back and forth with her eyes shut trying to stop the tears that threatened to fall. It felt like she had been sitting there forever with her sobs being the only thing to break the silence. It felt like her mind was breaking and she was trying to hold onto the rest of her sanity. Just when it felt like she was going to lose she felt something on her back. Something warm and comforting. She looked up from her legs and fought her sobs until she calmed down. She turned her head and was met with such a wonderful sight. Light, there was light!

She felt like she could scream for joy and she nearly did. She stood slowly and took a second to examine the newly found reprieve. The light was beginning to grow bigger and the more she stared the more comforted and safe she felt. Her feet began to move and with each step the water rippled. Heart beginning to pick up she cocked her head to the side, trying to get a glimpse of what waited for her in that bright light.

It seemed to pulse and rapidly began to expand at her sight! It was almost upon her now! Wendy's breathing began to pick up, her heart began to beat rapidly against her chest, and though she felt warm a cold shiver ran through her body. Something didn't feel quite right but it was so hard to look way. That was, until, she heard a noise. A voice to be more precise.

"Don't...me." The voice said behind her. It was soft yet strong. It was like music to her hears.

"Leave....Please." It came from behind her. She turned on her heels. It was coming from the darkness Which seemed to be growing darker by the second, if that was even possible!

"Don't...." The voice was growing faint and it terrified her. The light began to race faster as Wendy started to run.

She started out slowly but picked up the speed when she saw the light in her peripheral, threatening to swallow the darkness, and after a few seconds she was at a full sprint.

"Don't leave..." The voice sounded so familiar yet strange and foreign at the same time.

The darkness was only about the size of a door now and she feared she wouldn't make it before the light reached her. She gave it all she could and ran as hard as she possibly could, ignoring the warmth at her heels. And as the door began to disappear she dove into the darkness and then her exhaustion hit her and just before she passed out she heard,
