7. Setting Up

The city was amazing. I loved LA and had so much fun. We got home around 7:30. I was moving my stuff around and trying to decorate the apartment. Someone knocked on the door. I opened it and saw Grant.

He actually apologized to me and it was really sweet. He was really nice and even though he acted like a jerk before it was really sweet. I was starting to grow feelings for him but they were stupid. He could never feel that way about me. I was just random girl who's stealing his spotlight and he's a famous celebrity that everyone loves. I'm invisible to him.

I invite him in. "I was just trying to set up the apartment" I say with this really goofy smile on my face. I just couldn't stop smiling.

"You need help?" he asks. I smile and nod.

"Here you can start by unpacking everything" I say handing him a box. "Wait what time are we supposed to go to Candice's?"

"Um around 9, we have like 1 hour and a half," he replies unpacking things.

"Oh" I say placing pillows on the couch.

I tried to push the glass table in front of the couch but it was too heavy. Grant sees me struggle and walks over. He helps me push the table. "Thanks" I say staring at him.

"Carlos don't just barge in" I hear Danielle say walking in. Carlos just barges in, of course. "Great, you can help too" Grant says throwing a pillow at Carlos. He catches it and Danielle and Carlos walk over.

"Ok" they both say. I walk over to Danielle. "Can you help me set up my dresser please? It's a mess" I ask. "Sure!" says Danielle.

"Guys can you two connect the wifi and TV please?" I ask "Sure" Grant says.

"Carlos don't mess anything up..."
Danielle says to Carlos giving him a stern look. Grant and I laugh. Carlos rolls his eyes which made me laugh even more.

Danielle and I walk in my bedroom. We start taking my makeup out of a box. Danielle grabs a box with my jewelry and starts placing them nicely on my dresser. "You have really nice jewelry" Danielle says. "Thanks" I reply.

1 hour later...

We were all done setting up and I was really happy that we were able to finish so fast. I thanked everyone again. We had thirty minutes left until we left for Candice's.

"So what do you guys wanna do?" I ask. "I actually gotta go check up on Jett and Nora" Grant replies.

"Who are they?" I ask.

"Oh, they're my dogs."

"OH MY GOD!! You have dogs?!!" I squeal. Grant smiles which made him look adorable. "My babies" He says smiling. "You can meet them if you want"

My eyes widen which apparently made Carlos laugh. "I'm gonna go downstairs" says Carlos.

"Same" says Danielle as they both head downstairs.

"Come on you can meet the dogs" says Grant. "Yes! Oh but we gotta go to Candice's" I say checking the time.

"Tomorrow for sure!" Says Grant.

"Alright let's go!" I say grabbing my purse and keys. We head downstairs to pick Carlos and Danielle up. Then we head out. As soon as we step out the lobby a camera flashes at us. I cover my eyes.  The paparazzi runs back to his car. "Uh just ignore that" Carlos says. Grant leads us to his car.

We all get inside. I sit on the front and turn on the radio. The song 'Cold Water' was on. Every one starts singing to it as Grant drives. I didn't know if I should sing or not so I just went on my phone. I took a selfie of all of us. Everyone posed and I posted the picture on Instagram.

Suddenly my phone started buzzing like crazy.

"Wow." I say looking through all the likes and comments I got. I even gained followers. "You'll get used to that" Carlos says smiling at me.

Grant pulls up. We were at another super tall condo. I got out of the car and so did everyone else. Grant parks the car then joins us. We walk inside the building and Grant waved to the security man. We took the elevator to the top floor. Danielle, Carlos and Grant led me to Candice's. We walked and I knocked on Candice's door. She opened the door. "Hi guys! Come on in!"

"Wait!" Carlos yells. "Oh not again!" Tom yells from the back. "Huh?" I ask. Carlos runs up to the apartment room and knocks. Then he runs inside and Candice closes the door. I burst up laughing while Carlos looks through the peephole.

"Wow" I say still giggling. I turn around and see Grant staring at me and smiling.
