8. Filming and Acting

Alex:
We were about to act for the new season kickoff. The big day was tomorrow, but for now we were just at Candice's house to celebrate. I walked over to the mini "bar" and got a beer. I sat down on a comfy chair next to the counter. After a few minutes Grant came up to me. He smiled back and I offered him a beer. I was surprised with how well we were getting along. In fact, I was surprised we didn't hang out more since he was across me. I liked talking to Grant. Even though we only knew each other for a few months, it felt longer with him.

We start talking and we basically just talked for half an hour until the everyone else comes over. Then we just joked with each other and talked more about The Flash.

1 week later...

Grant:
This week was packed with filming and acting. In the show, we were about to go on a fake date and fake kiss. Last week my character got introduced to my future "girlfriend" on the show.

In the show, I was walking her over to my car and that's when we were supposed to kiss. I did so and Mr. Winter yelled CUT! I spun around startled and he said, "No blushing on the set, Gustin." I must have been blushing during the kiss, but now I was blushing for more than just that. When I looked at Alex, she giggled and I just tried to play along.

Alex:
I can't believe he was blushing! I could tell he never did it before with other girls on the show. Maybe he did feel the same way, or maybe he just felt weird kissing me after we basically hated each other.

Grant:
After that embarrassing moment, I assumed Alex knew about my feelings for her. Or maybe not. I don't know why I was being so secretive about it though. Either way, I needed to ask her out and fast. I spent enough nights awake about her. It was even more difficult with her being right across the hall. You would think we'd be spending more time together. I wish we were.
