Harry glanced at Ginny worriedly, taking in the worry lines that had started to appear on her forehead. With a jolt, he realised that those worry lines were partly due to him. Harry looked at the purple bags beneath her eyes and sighed, while he had been ill, she had been neglecting her own needs to care for him.

At Harry's sigh, Ginny looked up from the potions essay she was currently writing, and smiled fondly at Harry. "You okay?" She asked, a hint of worry in her voice,

Harry held out his hand to her, "Sit with me?" He asked, his eyes shining as an idea came to mind.

It didn't take much persuasion to get Ginny on the bed and curled up into Harry chest. Harry smiled down at her, as he hugged the girl he loved to him. He would make sure that she ate properly from now on, as he could feel and see that she had lost weight while he had been ill.

"You've been neglecting yourself." Harry stated softly.

Ginny looked up from her place against Harry's chest, "What do you mean?"

"You've not been eating or sleeping properly."

Ginny looked down guiltily, "It's hard." She whispered.

"I know," Harry answered, smiling at her. "But now I'm here to care for you."

Ginny looked as though she was going to protest, but Harry shushed her, and proceeded to play with her hair, until she fell asleep in his arms.

Harry smiled, they would both recover from the horrors of their past.

Three days later, Harry sat in the Gryffindor common room with a smile on his face. He had just been released from the hospital wing, with strict instructions to only do half days. He watched in a amusement as the portrait hole opened, and Ginny came through, he mouth dropping comically as she saw Harry sitting on the armchair nearest the fire.

"How?" She asked, as she came to stand in front of Harry.

"I was released just after lunch," Harry replied, grinning. "I'm only allowed to do half days for the moment though."

Ginny grinned and plonked herself down on Harry's knee, giving him a quick kiss on the lips, before snuggling into his chest and closing her eyes. "I'm glad your out." She murmured before dropping off to sleep.

Five minutes later, Hermione and Ron came through the portrait hole, watching as Harry started on an essay for Defense.

"Harry?" Hermione asked, her eyes wide.

"Hey," Harry whispered, smiling. "I was released today. Could you pass me a blanket for Ginny? She fell asleep."

Ron grabbed a blanket for a box next to the fireplace and passed it to Harry, who gently laid it on Ginny. Harry rubbed his forehead and sighed, before continuing on with his writing.

"What are you doing?" Hermione asked, "Surely you should rest instead of-"

"Catch up work," Harry interrupted, giving Hermione a small smile.

"Mate, it's Friday. Why don't you do that at the weekend?" Ron asked, raising an eyebrow.

Realisation dawned on Harry as he looked at Ron. "I have no idea. It's due in for four weeks time, too." Harry shook his head and smiled, "Merlin, Ron, I'm turning into Hermione!"

Ron quietly laughed as Hermione glared at Harry.

"Wassamatter?" Ginny asked, opening her eyes slightly.

"Nothing, sweetie, go back to sleep." Harry soothed, looking at Ginny worriedly as she grunted and fell asleep.

"Harry, she'll be fine." Hermione reassured him.
