3:40AM, and here I am making edits to Narrative. This early in the morning while my sleep was breaking up, I thought of a perfect ending for yesterday's episode that would kinda tie in with the rest of it, but also not really, since I left those details and bits out of the actual writings. Ideas strike at random, whenever they can. Timmy's breathing was kind of annoying honestly, and I didn't really feel like going back to sleep and forgetting the idea, so I added it in. Being up at that time made my typing loopy, as if my hands didn't want to correctly put in what I intended them to. I didn't want to spend an eternity up, so I went back to sleep and woke up later a few minutes before Jesus Calls. At 6:27, it started. Ms. Cook started on the wrong song, but when she realized she just went to the Jesus calls remix. Thinking back to it now, I either forgot to do the Lord's Prayer or did it sometime earlier when I actually woke up. I hope it was the first one. I was debating which conscience should be out, but Yesman was the only one available that had extra energy, being that he's a hyper person. I was reluctant to let him take control, on account of what he did yesterday. He's currently grounded. Am I even allowed to do that? Today's outfit was a flannel shirt with jeans. It was supposed to represent the conscience Charles, who has the flannel as his keystone. The first time I wore the shirt was on a Friday, so that's why I'm wearing it today. When I was ready I went to the lobby and we went to breakfast. At breakfast I got oatmeal with a waffle and bacon.
Once breakfast was over we were on our way to the reverend's teachings. Reverend Jackson talked about the masks from yesterday and how we didn't wear it all day. Most of us had taken it off because they were kinda annoying at times and interfered with our activities. His lesson today was about hiding behind the mask, the mask that you wear in front of people to hide your pain, depression, and sorrow. Having that Purple Blue side of me, I know of it all too well. Then I remembered a pirate joke. We got to hear who was nominated for King and Queen. Of course, I was in there. So was Timothy. We'll have to take an interview, which I'm bad at. I always know what the answer to whatever they ask is, but I can't structure the information into a sentence in my head, and thus cannot answer it in the real world. When the reverend was done, Ms. Cooper asked to see who was nominated. During out break, I told Kensley the pirate joke.
Malachi: Kensley, do you like jokes?
Kensley: Sure.
Malachi: What's a pirate's favorite letter?
Kensley: R??
Malachi: No, it's the C.
Kensley: I have one for you, why couldn't the cat watch his movie?
Malachi: I don't know.
Kensley: Because he put it on pause!
Definitely adding that to my barrage of jokes. I believe that next the nominees went to the interviews. We were in a single class near the first room and we were asked questions from a paper. Tim said he'd give me a crash course on answering questions in interviews, but we were in rows and seats and the row I was on was 2 rows away from him, and it would be hard to have a normal conversation that far apart. He advised that I prayed about it, and so I did. He then also prayed for me, as he did with Alyssa. I hope she becomes the queen. When it was my go, I was asked my questions and I answered them fluently, which was much better than I expected. And that famous question, "what makes you different from other people" was asked to me, and I got to talk about and explain the Malachi colors. After the interviews was midday worship. This was gonna be one of the last times the reverend would preach to us. He asked how many of us read Hamlet in high school, I read it in middle school but I still raised my hand. A reason I liked Hamlet a lot was because the main character, Hamlet Jr, acted a lot like Purple Blue Malachi, and there were a lot of comparisons between the two. Despite Gray Malachi and Lavender Malachi by far being the most relatable colors, Purple Blue has a lot of characters that match her personality. She's even 'fiction-hearted' (which is a lot like saying 'fiction-kin') with Lapis Lazuli from Steven Universe. After our last midday worship was lunch. Right when it was my turn in line there were no more fries. The person in front of me had taken the last of them. I'd just come to get them later, so for now all I got was a hotdog. The lunch lady said there should be more fries in about 10 minutes. I wanted something different for my drink this time so I got lemonade. After I got the fries and got a refill I chose to get fruit punch once again. But I almost spat it out when I tasted it. It was completely watered down. Other people had been saying their drinks were watered down too, so I wasn't the only one who thought so. When lunch was over we went to the dorms before going to the chapel for music. At the dorms I changed my outfit a bit. I wanted to not wear the jacket for now, but it was really hot outside though. The jacket is what makes me immune to heat, ironically.
