Nick: Hey, isn't it 6:31-

PA System: Gooood morning campers! Thank God for getting us up today. *Singing* Jesus Calls, Jesus calls. Calls for you, calls for me, calls for all. Jesus Calls."

That was the morning call, which we know as 'Jesus Calls.' It's supposed to wake us up and signal that it's time to go to the lobby. I myself was already awake since about 6am. I had a hard time sleeping and almost every half hour I was up again. I was done with the cycle so I just got completely up and waited for 6:30. I went downstairs where everyone else was. We all had to sit down, so some of us sat on the floor, me included. Only girls were allowed to sit on the furniture, cause of manners. We had our morning devotion and did a prayer. We had some late stragglers who somehow didn't wake up at the call. After a bit we went back to our dorms, where we'd actually get ready and do our morning routine. We would also have to make sure our rooms were tidy before we leave back to the lobby at 7. I already prepared my outfits for the week, today's was the Steven Universe shirt. Tomorrow's was the bandana shirt. I never thought of a name for it until now. Is it weird to name shirts? Eh, I'm weird enough, no going back now. Breakfast was at 7, and once we were ready we went back to the lobby and to the cafeteria. I didn't want much, so all I got was a waffle, a sausage, some oatmeal and orange juice for my drink. The orange juice tasted terrible actually, but maybe that's just because I brushed my teeth less than a few minutes ago. The oatmeal wasn't too bad and the waffle was great. I debated whether I wanted seconds or not. In fear of over eating like yesterday, I chose not too. I got a refill, but instead of the orange juice I filled my cup with fruit punch, which tasted much better. I was focused on writing Narrative and getting to the point in the writing to the point where I was in the real world. To everyone else, I was just a person who was constantly on their phone.

Before we leave we have to clean up of course, so I helped with that as I usually would. On our way out, Gent held the door for everyone. We were supposed to go to the chapel next, but Reverend Jackson wasn't feeling well. I heard we were going to our classes but we went to an auditorium. It looked like it was a classroom. Apparently Reverend Jackson was back and he was speaking to us as we initially expected. I was sitting in the front row, which had mostly empty seats. He shaked my hand and I couldn't help but notice that his palms were a bit sweaty. Today he talked about David and Goliath, and with that he brought about the point of being a leader rather than a follower. There was more he mentioned, but I don't use use my phone during the teachings or keep track of every detail that happens, unfortunately. I try to write about whatever's most important and keep the info to myself. After Reverend Jackson's teaching, we went to the classes. The classes were split up by age group, and Deacon Milton and Ms. Cooper were teaching my class. We received packets. The lesson today was about loving others how you love yourself. After class was our 15 minute break, which passed by in seconds before we were back at the chapel for midday worship. Reverend Jackson must've noticed that I'm on my phone almost constantly, because he asked me about it.

Reverend Jackson: What girl are you texting 24/7?

I explained to him what Narrative was and he seemed impressed. Inside the chapel we worked on the talent show, which I still didn't come up with an act for. In honesty, I didn't want to do anything, but it was one of those cases where everyone knows your potential and kinda force you into it. Sorta like when you're the smart but timid child in school and because of that the teacher always calls on you. I let everyone else come up with an act while I tried to think of something that would be in my caliber to do. I already knew that it would have to do with writing. When midday worship began, the choir started us off with some songs. In the choir was Raymon, Ahnaca, Rodrick, Calaya, Erneshia, and Timothy. Reverend Jackson spoke after that and touched up on what he talked about earlier and then gave us a thing to do at the dorms. Essentially, it was homework. Going through the alphabet, we have to find a word that starts with the letter that best describes us. For instance, A. The word 'adventurous' starts with A, so we could use that. We can even use expressions as long as they still start with the letter. Example again, 'always hopeful.' We also did it as an activity, where the reverend would call out a word and if it fit us then we'd stand up. Lunch was next. I had a small pizza slice, a hamburger, and fries. There really wasn't much in my view that happened other than Narrative. I've been taking all day trying to catch up with the current time, yet there isn't even much to write about. There isn't even as much dialogue as there used to be. On top of that, I feel like I'm leaving out details that could be important to mention. Narrative can be stressful at times. Writing it is a good and bad thing both at once.
