Once again, the Jesus calls got me up from my slumber. Before I stepped out of bed, I made sure to recite the Lord's Prayer. I asked myself to remember to do it first thing when I wake up. Also reverend Jackson had asked us to try it and see if there were any differences in our day. Mr. Funderburk came in and rushed me to go downstairs. As expected, we had our morning devotion and prayer, and went back upstairs to get ready for our day. I took a bit longer getting ready today than usual. Mr. Funderburk told me that if I wasn't back in the lobby in 5-6 minutes that everyone would leave without me. Only difference today is being a bit short on time. At breakfast I chose not to get a pizza and since there weren't any waffles today, I had oatmeal and bacon. I heard that for recreation we'd be doing exercise, and today's a Wednesday so that works out perfect for me. We went to Bible class next, as usual. After class I went back into the room to talk to Reverend Jackson about the homework and told him that I didn't know when to turn it in, so I presented it to him then. He was amazed by it especially the word I chose for the letter A, analytical. Knowing my struggles, he asked me not to delete it from my phone and said that I should look at it whenever I'm having art block. I didn't really find what I wrote down to be that self inspiring, but it can sorta like a memento to me. After that I went back outside to wait for the class. Proud that I had finished it, I wanted to have Kensley read the Narrative episode from Monday. In the blink of an eye she finished reading it. Wow, faster than Nyla when she reads. She seemed to enjoy it I assume, so that's good anyway. I added to my notes as usual until class started. We had a similar lesson today, but I don't know what about the lesson was similar. Great job only writing 2 words and expecting me to remember the whole lesson, past me. Then again, I am finishing some of these pretty later than their actual dates, so the blame is on current me as well. Instead of another restroom break, we had "Rise and Shine it's President Hayes Time," where Mrs. Hayes talked to us for a bit. I believe that after that came lunch. While I was in the line Kaiden asked what I was getting.

Nick: A hotdog and fries.

Kaiden: But didn't you get that yesterday and the day before that?

Nick: No, the day before yesterday I had a hamburger.

I'll admit, I haven't been creative with my food choices lately. After lunch we had 5 minutes to switch outfits before we went to music. All the while I was growing a headache. After music there was rain. Because of the rain, exercise was canceled and we were going to play volleyball. Wow, thanks rain. The volleyball court is right outside the dorms, so in case it does pour down we can just head back inside. While we were on the way to the volleyball court, Kaiden asked me to hold his phone case.

Kaiden: Since you're my best friend and your first name is my middle name I trust you with my phone case.

I put it in my lanyard, so it didn't bother me much. We played volleyball and it was fun, but Minister Ron accidentally hit the ball into the road on the other side of the gate near us, leaving it unaccessible to us. Eventually they got the ball again and we continued our game... Until Raymond accidentally hit the ball into a nearby tree branch. The tree wasn't safe to climb, so they had to go upstairs to someone's balcony (the tree was right next to a building) and push the ball out with a pole. It didn't look easy. By the time dinner started the headache was growing stronger. When I finished my hotdog and fries I tried to nap until we got to the dorms. Once there, I tried to sleep the headache off, but I felt like I was supposed to be downstairs. I went to the stairwell but Mr. Funderburk was talking to all the boys there. He ordered Antoine to go to his room. He might have made Funderburk mad. He might even get 24 hours. I don't even think I explained 24 hours in any the other episodes yet. Basically it's a time out from any activity for- you guessed it, 24 hours. Since we are only here for 5/7 days, a full day lost is pretty significant. Or at least it is to me. My arrival to the conversation was apparently near the end, because shortly after we all just went back to our dorms. I took a shower. Sometime later Vanderbilt and Antoine visited, Vanderbilt asking if me and Timmy had any candy in our rooms. I assume the candy smell was coming from me. Once they left I got some actual sleep until I woke up and heard over the intercom "Again, can we have Vanderbilt, Raymon, and Malachi to the lobby?" I was confused on why it asked again? I would've woken up the first time if they called earlier, and Timmy hadn't heard them call before. He actually thought they might've mistaken my name for his, and that I was being called to something relating to chorus. After my shower I was wearing some of my casual pants, these didn't have pockets though and I changed again so I could bring my phone just in case something could be added to my notes. I was called downstairs because Ms. Cooke wanted the 3 of us to get a table out of her room and into the lobby for game night. One of us were to hold the door and the other 2 lifted the table. I was left door holding. Instructions must not have been clear, I was holding the door to the hallway instead of the actual door to Ms. Cooke's room. Casual Fritz moment. After we had the table Ms. Cooke asked me to retrieve toilet paper from her room as well. I am apparently terrible at listening to instruction because I had instantly forgot if I was supposed to get the whole roll or just some sheets. I compromised and got the whole roll, because it would end in the better of the 2 situations. But it turned out I was asked to get paper towels... Maybe I simply wasn't the best person to call down here.

It wasn't long before the lobby was set up and the fun began. There was uno, jenga, bean bag toss, and others. I wanted to play uno, but Alexis, Raymon, Alyssa, and Malik were already playing, and the max number of players were 4. Joseph was waiting for the next game as well, and we watched them play. Uno was fun, I even recall one of the plays where I was doing the worst and somehow ended up losing by only 1 card. Nick thought it would be nice to show people the narrative episode we finished, and I got plenty of great reviews. Everyone seemed to love it, surprisingly to me. I even got Reverend to read the episode while we played jenga. While he continued reading off of my phone, I talked to Alexia. She told me about a daycare she works at. She works there, or volunteers. I wish my notes were more clear. Eventually the reverend came back and told me about his opinions on my writing. I'm shocked to see everyone enjoying what I write and wanting more. I had a lot of fun down here and I learned anything,

It's that I'll never stop writing.
