It's only two days before Christmas. The whole day, Felix hides his phone from me. He doesn't want me to see a message. I give up sooner or later. Felix speaks. "Do you wanna go to the park? They have a bunch of pretty lights there," Felix asks. "Sure?" He seems excited.
"When?" I ask, checking my phone. "Right now! Come on!" He yells. He drags me outside and we run to the park. There were pretty lights all over the trees. I stare in awe. Felix grabs my hand. I look over at him. His eyes flicker all around. His gaze focusing in every direction. But then his eyes glue to the path. He notices a girl and his hand breaks from mine, and he starts running to her.
(Marzia's POV)
"This will break her heart...but isn't that what she deserves?" I think to myself.
((Y/n)'s POV)
She runs into Felix's arms. I listen from afar. "I'm so sorry Felix. I shouldn't have left you. I made a mistake. I feel so bad. I know you probably will never love me again but I just want you to know I'm sorry!" She cries into his chest. "It's fine, I forgive you." He hugs her tightly. I can feel it. He forgot about me. She kisses him and he kisses back. My heart breaks again. At this point, I'm just pissed off.
I sigh, a tear rolls down my cheek. It hits the concrete and freezes. I walk back home and find Emily by the door. "Conner's sister is here," Emily says. "Okay." I walk in and see a pretty girl sitting on the couch next to Conner.
I can tell she's really nice. She isn't someone who will stab you in the back.
