After twenty minutes, Cry pulls over. I look at him confused as he gets out of the car. He opens the passenger door and I get out. "Whoa...Cry, it's so beautiful," I say, looking down at the city. We sit on the hood of the car, talking until it falls silent. I lean my head on his shoulder and he puts his head on mine.
He runs his fingers through my hair. I become tired. I lay down in his lap, while plays with my hair for a bit before carrying me back to the car. It's quiet as he drives me home. Then he pulls into Emily's driveway. We both get out of the car so he can walk me to the door. "Thank you for an amazing night," I whisper with a giggle, kissing his cheek before walking inside.
I walk upstairs tiredly and stumble into my room. I collapse down onto my bed, getting comfortable after a moment. Soon enough, I fall asleep.
