Felix pulls away and looks into my eyes. He grabs the plane ticket and rips it into shreds. I watch the tiny pieces fall to the floor. Cole and Emma watch from afar. I look up at him. He wipes away my tears with his thumb. He smiles, he cares about me...but why? He never said he loves me back...he embraces me into a tight hug. "I love you too." He whispers.
I smile brightly, not being able to express how happy I am. "Thank you," I sniffle.
