I look over at her. "No." I huff, obviously lying. Emily just laughs a little. We have our little party, doing a few activities here and there. I get tired of being around everyone though, so I hide up in my room for a bit. "So, you've been awfully quiet up here all alone," Felix walks in. I don't answer, I just keep my face buried in a book. It's silent. "Felix!" I hear Lilly yell from downstairs. "Oh okay!" He replies. Eventually, he convinces me to come along. We all watch a few movies. I didn't get ice cream earlier, I just wasn't in the mood for it. "Here." Felix hands his bowl of ice cream.
"No, you keep it." I push it away. "Come on! Take it." He begs. I look up at his desperate eyes. "Fine." I give in, playfully glaring at him. The movie ends sometime later. I start to fall asleep on the couch. I feel someone tap my shoulder. I lift my head tiredly. "Are you gonna go to sleep?" Emily asks. "Lilly is sleeping in my room so no," I say. "Well, in that case, Felix is waiting for you on the porch." Emily reminds me. "Fuck! I forgot." I groan and she giggles. I quickly put on my coat and shoes before exiting the house.
"Hey, look who showed up," Felix smiles at me. "Why would I miss it?" I giggle, grabbing his hand as we start to walk toward the park.
