Beep Beep Beep

Is all I heard as I shut my alarm clock off. Time for another rotten day of being beat and of that hell-hole called school.

“D, come-on get up please. It’s  time for school. I hear my older brother, Darren say as I groan. I get out of bed and yell down the stairs to him, “ I’m up Dare-bear, I’m up.”I hear him chuckle as I head to my closet. I get into my walk-in closet and choose my outfit for the day. It is a blue over the shoulder one sleeve long sleeve shirt with black skinny jeans a grey beanie and grey mid calf heels. After i get changed I walk out and head to my adjourning bathroom. I brush my teeth and i put my hair in a halo braid. When I feel satisfied with how I look I head out of my bedroom, only to bump into a “wall” and fall on my butt. I look up and see that the “wall” is alpha Scott. “ S-sorry Alpha-a S-Scott. I didn't mean to bump into you,” I stutter out while looking down at the ground in submission. Alpha Scott just looks at me before resting his hand on my shoulder and says,” It's ok Dusk, You can get up. Oh and happy birthday.” I get up and smile up at him and say,” Thank you Sir.” He nods and continues to walk and i head down to the kitchen. You see Alpha Scott, Darren, and my best friend Kitty are the only ones who are nice to me. Everyone else blames me for the death of my parents and because of that they all beat me. The worst part of it tho is that my older sister, Star, is the one who started it all. Anyways back to reality. As soon as I get downstairs I hear, “ Surprise!” I then shriek and fall down, flat on my ass, for the second time in three minutes. I glared up at Kitty, and  Darren and i yell at them,”  GUYS, DON’T DO THAT!” when i’m done me and kitty start laughing. “ Sorry Chica you we had to,” Kitty says whilst helping me up. Kitty is a Latina girl with long black hair and green eyes that have a slit like a cats does, hence her name. She’s about 5”4 and is super funny but that goes away if you mess with her or her friends and family. If she’s around, well let's just say, she goes all ninja on your ass. I get up and am immediately bombarded in a group hug. I laugh as i wrap my arms around her and say,” I love yo Kit.” she lets me go and pulls a present out of her pocket. “Kitty-kat you shouldn't have. I’m not that special.” I whine to her. “To bad. You're special to me, now open it,” she says to me. I smile and tear open the packaging to find a little box with a silver locket in the shape of a book with a trident on the front. I hug her and tell her thank you. Then Darren comes with two presents in his hand. He hands me one of them and says,” mom and dad were going to give this to you.  So i thought i would do it for them.” i look down at it sadly and open the package to find a box with a journal and a necklace inside it. The  journal is a letter from my parents. As i read it i start to cry. When i'm done i put the necklace on and stare at it. It is a grayish silver wolf with blue eyes. The back was engraved and it said,” to our baby girl. Never be afraid of who you are. We love you- momma and pappa” I look at Darren and he smiles sadly at me before handing me my other present. I open it and find a sterling silver diamond encrusted heart shaped ring. I put it on and throw myself into his arms and hug him to death saying,” thank you so much Dare-bear. I love you” I let go and say” now if you excuse me i'm going to go and ge-ahhh.” I cry out in pain as I fall to the ground and feel the first of my bones break. I feel someone pick me up and i look to see that it is Darren. He carries me outside and runs into a clearing in the woods. I scream as more pain attacks my body and i curl into a ball against his chest.  He sets me down on a bed of grass and starts petting my hair telling me that it will be ok soon. And with that i drift off into a painful  sleep.
