Meeting my Wolf and A New person

When we are back at the pack house I see Kat pacing back and forth outside while someone tries to comfort her.  Walking along side her is a girl with brown hair and brown eyes.  I smile to myself at the sight of her.  As I get closer she looks up and sees me.  She doesn't say anything and just takes off running at me. When she gets within twelve feet, she launches herself at me. I stumble backwards a couple of steps as she latches onto me. When I regain balance and i laugh and wrap my arms around her. “By the Angel Kat. What has gotten into you. It's not like I died or anything.”  She hops off of me and says,” you're right it's not like you died, it's like you shifted. OH MY WHAT DOES YOUR WOLF LOOK LIKE!!!!!!!” I cover my ears as she squeals. ‘Remember what your mom and dad said. Don't tell anyone what i look like,’I hear in my head. ‘What the heck!! Who are you,’ i respond to the voice in my head. ‘Im Dawn. I'm your wolf.’I mentally nodded my head ok before being brought back to reality by someone snapping their fingers in front of my face. I focus back into reality to see Kat standing there snapping her fingers. “what Kitty-Kat? What is wrong?” I ask her. She looks at me incredulously and says,” I was asking what your wolf looks like. Pay attention D. Geez.” I start laughing slightly trying to come up with what to tell her. “ Well, my wolf is a deep black with blue eyes.” I nod to myself mentally because I feel like that is believable. She nods her head and says,”cmon we are gonna be late for school let's hurry up.” I nod my head before saying, “Wait. Who is your friend over there.” I point to the girl and Kat looks towards her and says, “ oh thats Sofia Menses she’s my cousin from another pack. They moved here to be closer to our grandparents.” I nod and walk over to her and say while holding out my hand ,” Hi. I’m Dusk Shade. That guy over there is my brother. He’s also the beta. Anyways I hope you like it here. Oh by the way. I am kinda not the most popular girl here so unless you don’t mind that I would hang out with me. “  She smiles and nods,” Hi i'm Sofia Menses and to be honest in my old pack I wasn’t popular either so I don't mind it. I would actually like to be your friend if that's ok.” I smile and nod my head signalling that it's ok. We laugh and Darren and Kat walk over to us and we all head inside to get ready for school.
