I backed up, my eyes bigger than golf balls as I looked at a horrific familiar face. I wanted to scream, but my body wouldn't let me. In fact, my body didn't let me do anything at all. I just stood there looking at the terrible thing in front of me.

"W-who are y-you?" Lucy asked fearfully.

No! No! Don't say anything! I thought, but my body wouldn't let me say it aloud.

The frightening figure laughed. Her laugh was just as I remember, smooth as silk. "Me? Oh, my name is-"

I cut her off, unable to stop myself, "Sairai."

She smile, showing off her flawless, pearly teeth. Her silky, midnight hair fell to her ivory shoulders and her crimson eyes glittered dangerously. "It seems you remember me, Azzy."

My fear turned to rage. "Why are you here, Sairai?"

She laughed again, "I just wanted to check on my favorite boyfriend."

Lucy blinked, "Wait, you have a girlfriend?"

"Had." I said angrily. I turned to Sairai again, "You took my memories, didn't you?"

Lucy looked sorely confused, but I ignored her. I looked impatiently at Sailai, but she only laughed. "Of course I did. You don't think that I would just let you go after what you saw."

My eyes narrowed. I remembered perfectly well what she did to me. The feelings were still fresh, too.

"Why, Sairai?" I asked, still in an angry tone, "Why didn't you just kill me?"

"Wait, wait, wait!" Lucy said, still looking confused, "I'm not going to be left in the dark about this. What's going on!"

I sighed, "Well, long story short, I dated Sairai. She cheated and wiped my memories. I'm here."

Sairai looked offended, "Oh, I thought you knew, sweety."

Lucy cut in, "Don't call me that,"

She continued, "After all, I am a Succubi."

"Wait a second," I said, now the most confused, "Did you turn me?" Lucy looked more confused than a snake being beat by a lizard.

Sairai laughed again, "Of course, I did, honey."

    "Don't call me that, either."

"Once you're touched by my magic, you change. You almost never change back."

Suddenly, it all made sense. The old man was right. And I thought he was going senile...

"Of course," Sairai started again, "Now that you remember, you have to be... exterminated."

My eyes widened, "Lucy! Close your eyes!"

Lucy obeyed and Sairai shot a beam of venomous purple light out of her. I knew what she was doing. It was her aura. Hers was very strong and controlled. I used mine, emitting a bright red out my hand. Ours touched, and produced sparks.

"Don't underestimate me, Azzy!" Sairai shouted in an inhuman voice, "I'm more powerful than I look!"

She didn't lie. Her light was very powerful, but it was formed on hate and anger. I don't know what mine is formed of, which makes it unpredictable and hard to control. Mine might as well be a rocket ready to blow.

My face was contorted with concentration. I was using all of my energy in this attack, though I knew it might be fatal. I heard a noise, but I couldn't comprehend it. All I saw was red, the color of rage.

Suddenly, I saw another color in mine. It was white. I turned and saw Lucy doing the same as Sairai and me.

    She was using magic.

    I almost lost control.

    It's true. It's true. It's true. I thought as I still concentrated.

"No!" Sairai yelled, in an angry, inhuman voice, "I'll be back!" And she disappeared without a trace.

Lucy and I both collapsed and I only saw black.
