Humans can lick too

I love my cat a lot. He loves to lick my hand when we are sleeping. He usually sleeps at the bottom of my bed. He sleeps below the bed and I will usually stretch out my hand and if he licks, I know he's there. Tonight however, I discovered something else that humans can do.

I walked across my living room waiting for my cat to finish eating. Meanwhile, in my head; I can make the bed while he's eating. I went up to my room and prepared his customized bed that is under my bed. I also fold my duvets that lay still on my bed. As I prepared the bed, I heard thumping on the ground behind me. My heart beat 10 times faster. Then I remembered that no one was at home. I gathered up enough courage to look behind and I saw nothing.

Meow. I heard my cat purr and meow as I rushed downstairs to take him up. I then put him in his little bed and looked at the clock: 21.19. Perfect. I collaspe with exhaustion on to my bed and immediately dozed off to sleep.

I was awoken in the middle of the night by a thump. I reached down expecting a lick from my cat. And I got it. I fell back asleep. A few minutes later, the same thump woke me up. I did the same thing and no different results. The same thing happened over and over again. Then finally, when the same thump came again, this time louder, I got up and went to my bathroom as there was where the sound was coming from.

Oh my god. I think I might have puked there because what I saw was my cat hanging from a rope with it's stomach cut open. My eyes moved to the blood-written words beside it. Humans can lick too.
